Susan Dentzer is an on-air correspondent with The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, leading a unit that provides in-depth coverage of health care, health policy, and Social Security reform. Dentzer worked as a journalist for U.S News and World Report, where she reported extensively on the debate over Social Security privatization and such health policy issues as the regulation of managed care.
