Pelosi: Payroll Tax Cut Deal Will 'Boost' Economy

House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi told the NewsHour's Judy Woodruff in an interview Thursday that the deal forged on Capitol Hill to extend a payroll tax cut and continue unemployment insurance benefits will create jobs and help the economy.

Pelosi, D-Calif., said she isn't worried that the deal is paid for by taking money from the Social Security Trust Fund, but said "this should be the last year for it." Pelosi added, "One or two years, the trust fund can handle that."
