POTUS and QEII: How Many Presidents Has Queen Elizabeth Met?
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II celebrates 60 years on the throne this week, a reign that has covered 12 U.S. presidents.
Since the 1950s, from White House state dinners to tours of Buckingham Palace, the 86-year-old queen has met with all sitting U.S. presidents but one -- Lyndon B. Johnson.
Diamond Jubilee celebrations this week are highlighting the queen's life and work. Soggy weather didn't divert the 1,000-boat escort of Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip, the duke of Edinburgh, as the parade floated down the Thames River on Sunday.

Buckingham Palace is staging a concert featuring Elton John and Paul McCartney on Monday night. Festivities will culminate Tuesday in a thanksgiving service at St. Paul's Cathedral, the site where Prince Charles and Lady Diana famously wed, followed by a Union Jack-lined carriage ride back to Buckingham Palace, where the royals are expected to appear on the balcony.

The Telegraph has a video highlighting events of her 60-year reign.
The BBC reports on the home movies, some of which the queen recorded, that Prince Charles recently presented as a tribute to his mother.
