Special correspondent Lee Hochberg reports from Oregon, where officials are looking into charging drivers a tax based on the number of miles they drive in lieu of a highly-debated gas tax.

No gas tax. No mileage tax. Increase car registration fee. Stop expansion of highway system. Ban sprawl, create livable, self sustainable community. Improve mass transit so nobody needs to own a car. If a car needs to be used, rent it. Decrease traffic, decrease pollution. Unfortunately, it’s easier said than done.
