The Union Hotel is out favorite restaurant. We live in the Santa Rosa area and look forward to heading away to quiet Occidental and especially to the serenity of the Union Hotels patio with the redbud, lilac, and bubbling fountain. The food is fantastic piping hot (pizza dough) bread sticks arrive immediately along with the French bread in the bread basket. The polenta is so creamy (because its made with real cream). The shrimp pasta is loaded with prawns and the pasta is cooked al dente. The brushetta is the best we have ever had! The Friday night clam chowder (minnestone option) is creamy, buttery, and incedibly generous with clams. Portions are large. The chicken (organic) on the menu really is a full half of a chicken. Our last visit we tried panini from the panini menu (3 choices from a full page of fillings). We tried carmelized onion, roasted red pepper (sweet!), and avocado which was layered with crispy fresh arugula. And one of our favorite desserts is the tiramisu a huge piece creamy with mascarpone layered with Wolf coffee and Kalua soaked sponge cake. Comfortable, delicious food, full portioned meals, at very reasonable prices.
All of my friends are afraid and have gone underground. They are elderly and do not want to be sterio typed as drug addicts and tried in kangaroo courts. They think they can go back to the old ways and it would be safer. They are hoping that the police will go after the young people and leave them alone.

OK, I have to stick up for you this time Jeff. I will have to say Ft. Worth is absolutely NOT the lesser half of DFW. As someone who has lived in the METROPLEX my entire life, I have to say I much prefer the character of Ft. Worth over the Cosmo quality of Dallas. Personal opinion, I know, but some of the people I know from Dallas just really need to get over themselves.
First of all I really want to ask the people who run this website if they could please, please allow the films to be played on here in MY region! I live in Prince-Edward-Island, Canada and I cannot get it on my computer, it wont play them. I know that you’re probably very busy but I LOVE the first movie and I really want to see the others. Is there any way to do this without buying the DVD? I don’t have enough money for it :(

is it me or (in this video) does Sitka’s forehead marking gets turned around? when she returns to the band after the winter her head marking is in the opposite direction. then in another direction in her next close up.
Very inspiring and somehow humbling. We live so peacefully for the most part. I am watching dawn light the sky over the mountains in Utah and feel a bit spoiled to live in the United States, even with all our problems and issues. That is the humbling part.
