Isn't this area subject to Equatorial Monsoons? What will be the effect of global warming on these monsoons? Will they be stronger, weaker? Will the rains come at all? The cold coastal current will weaken and this will impact sea life on the coast, but probably the rain that makes it inland will increase so the land will change as well. How will this impact the fragile balance of lion, and people, and desert?

Nature created nothing useless or having no role overall. I want to know about the role of Desert in nature or otherwise balancing the nature.
