It’s been one year since President Obama gave his landmark speech in Cairo promising an improved relationship between the US and the Muslim world. During a conference sponsored by the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy on April 28, 2010, Farah Pandith, the US State Department’s Special Representative to Muslim Communities, spoke about what has changed and what remains to be done.
