- 1 tbsp seasoned salt
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp parsley flakes
Toppings:
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Green onion, diced
- Sour cream
- Saltine crackers, diced (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
-
Wash and dice potatoes (with skin) into ½ inch pieces.
-
Drizzle potatoes with olive oil and lightly salt. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
-
On a baking sheet, lay strips of bacon on foil and bake at the same time as the potatoes.
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground angus beef, breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and dry spices. Use your hands to mix the ingredients together.
-
Take a handful of the beef, roll into a ball, and then gently flatten it to create large burger patties. Lay them on a large plate or serving tray for easier cooking purposes.
-
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add olive oil and butter.
-
Cook 2-3 patties in the skillet at a time until cooked through. Repeat for all patties until cooked.
-
In large frying pan, fry eggs (2-3 at a time) in olive oil and butter until cooked and slightly brown on edges.
-
The last 30 seconds to a minute or so for each egg, top with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese and cook until cheese is slightly melted.
-
While the eggs and patties are cooking, dice the bell peppers and onions, then sauté in a large sauté pan.
-
When the vegetables are softened, take the potatoes from the oven and add to the pan, along with the dry spices for seasoning.
-
Remove bacon from the oven and set aside.
-
In a small bowl, combine the Miracle Whip and hot sauce. Spread a generous amount on top of each burger bun, then build the burger. Layer bottom bun, angus beef patty, fried egg with cheese, lettuce, bacon, and top bun.
-
Plate the breakfast potatoes next to the burger and serve hot!
