Obama won't rule out U.S. embassy in Iran

WASHINGTON — While President Barack Obama hasn't ruled out the possibility of reopening a U.S. Embassy in Iran, Republicans say the Senate will vote within weeks on a bill to impose more sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear program.

Militants attacked the U.S. embassy in Yemen Wednesday, assaulting the structure with automatic weapons, rocket-propelled grenades and at least one suicide car bomb. Officials said the attack killed at least 16 people, including six assailants.
