Alphabet Birthday Party

The letter of the day is 'B' for birthday! Follow our start to finish how-to guide to plan an alphabet adventure party for your toddler or preschooler. Plan ahead with invitations and menus, make DIY table decorations, and get ready for party day with bingo printables and a cookie decorating station. Planning ahead is a great way to stay on budget and gives you time to enjoy the party day festivities.

Party Planning Timeline

3-4 weeks before the party: Send out your invitations. Ask people to RSVP at least one week before the party to help you plan for food and supplies.

2 weeks before the party: Make a list of everything you need to buy or make for the party.

1 week before the party: Shop for, print and prepare any non-perishable items. Make it a group effort by encouraging your child to help with the decorations if the party isn't a surprise.

A few days before the party: Finish making any decorations and party games or favors. Confirm RSVPs.

The day before the party: Bake and decorate (or pick up) the cake and cookies. If your party is inside, go ahead and hang up decorations and set up party stations. If your party is outside, schedule time the morning of the party to set up decorations and activity stations.

The day of the party: Set out food and grab your camera. With all of the preparation set, you are ready to start the party. We suggest the following order of activities to help the day go smoothly. Let's party!
