Materials
Directions
Fill an ice bucket with ice and provide a scoop for guests.

Purchase or prepare a few bottles of sparkling water. If you have a carbonation machine at home, you can use this to make a few bottles of sparkling water. If not, store-bought club soda, tonic water, or sparkling water works perfectly.

Set out a few different flavors of syrup. You can make them (here is a simple and delicious recipe!) or purchase a few bottles of store-bought syrup. Some traditional Puerto Rican piragua flavors to try could include strawberry, coconut, lemon, passion fruit, or guava.

Set out cups and straws. Instruct guests on how to make their Piragua-inspired Punch: fill a cup with ice, pour in some sparkling water, add a bit of their favorite syrup flavor, and stir. For younger guests, it may be best to have adults help serve and pour the beverages. To flavor an 8 oz cup of sparkling water, you’ll need about ½-1 oz of syrup.

Let your guests create their unique Piragua-inspired Punch recipes and enjoy!
