Churchill became Member of Parliament for Oldham aged just 26 years. Westminster would become the scene of many of his greatest triumphs – and failures – in a Parliamentary career spanning some 60 years.

During Second World War, Churchill ran Britain’s campaign from an underground bunker beneath London’s Whitehall, where he literally lived, worked, ate and slept.
