The Webbys: Get Out the Vote!

Last week, FRONTLINE/World was nominated for five Webby Awards, one of the best known prizes in online journalism and entertainment.
We received nominations in the Online Film & Video categories for our stories about Afghanistan, Burma and Dubai. And we are particularly pleased that the FRONTLINE/World website as a whole received two nominations, recognized for "best documentary" series and "best news and politics" series.

We're in fine company competing against National Geographic, NPR, The New York Times, the MIT Media Lab and The Onion, to name a few.

But we need your help. For each category, the Webbys also give a People's Voice Award, based on an online vote. So we encourage you to go and vote for us in each of our five nominated categories and to spread the word to your friends. Thanks! The winners will be announced on May 6.
