BODY OF WAR introduced viewers to Tomas Young, a young veteran who was paralyzed less than a week after arriving to fight in Iraq.

The past week has been difficult for the Young family. As reported by Bill Moyers, Tomas briefly fell into a coma brought on by a clot in his lungs. According to his mother Cathy, he is now awake and speaking for a few hours a day.
