Christina Hoff Sommers was a philosophy professor at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and taught ethics but is now known for her critique of late-twentieth-century feminism. She is the author of the provocative best seller Who Stole Feminism? How Women Have Betrayed Women, and The War On Boys. It was Sommers who first coined the phrases "equity feminism" and "gender feminism."
