I would like to purchase the DVD of Carol Burnett “A Woman of Character”. In 2008, my daughter, who is an actress in Houston, TX was named “The Carol Burnett of Houston” in the Houston Chronicle. She idolizes Carol and I would like to give this DVD to my daughter, Carolyn, as a surprise Christmas gift.

I would like to purchase the DVD of Carol Burnett, ” A Woman of Character”. It was not shown on cable in our area. Also, I have been a fan of Carol’s forever and remember(showing my age) seeing the tv show “Once upon a Mattress” where Carol plays the princess. Is that in DVD format and where can I purchase that? I still laugh just thinking about it… I grew up on the same street as Carol Burnett. West side of San Antonio on Zarzamora Street. I have been a fan for a long time, back to your “I made a fool of myself over John Foster Dulles days. I am a retired rail worker who now acts and sings at 73. Love entertaining. Sent you a fan letter. { the only one I’ve sent in my life} that’s how much I love you and your comedy. 90% of my credits in theatre have been comedic roles and timing is everything in my opinion. I just came across this site. I also am a great big fan of Carol Burnett. Her tv show was the best. Now that was a variety show and man what fun you all seemed to have. I am a teacher for pay but a community director and actor and sometimes student film star for fun. I find acting just the greatest thing and directing to me is like building a dream. To see it come to fruition is marvelous! Well Ms. Burnett if you see this comment drop me a line I’d love to chat with you- who wouldn’t.
