I would suspect the decline of these sea mammals is connected to similar environmental factors. These factors need to be identified so that the serious decline in sea mammal population numbers is reversed as quickly as possible. I read some good news today, i.e., blue whales appear to be migrating, once again, farther into northern Pacific ocean areas. This had not been observed for many years.
