The World’s Biggest Bomb
Watch the Full Episode

Beginning in the 1950s, American and Soviet scientists embarked on a perilous race to see who could build and detonate the world’s largest bomb. The results exceeded all expectations about how big a bomb could be built. Initially, the Americans led the way, but then left the field clear for the Soviet Union to break all records.

Secrets of the Dead chronicles how the bomb-makers on both sides were working blind as they pushed science into unknown territory to build The World’s Biggest Bomb. As we approach the 50th anniversary of the detonation of the most powerful bomb ever constructed – October 30, 1961 – The World’s Biggest Bomb premieres nationally Tuesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. (ET) on PBS (check local listings).

The World developed the wrong kinds of Atomic Energy, and for the wrong reasons. We now have the Atomic knowledge to end world poverty and repression with safer and smarter atomic energy. That would not hurt man kinds atomic construction of oxygen / hydrogen atom composition when something goes wrong like recent in Japan… (( You just do not know all there is to know about Nuclear Fusion & Fission energy fields )) This info provided for History by me copyrights owner in New Relativity and New Atomic energy in the third energy wheel in American History C/C or ( Constant/ Current )

I recently watched a scrubbed defense film on You Tube of the Castle Bravo test. Even though I knew the story, knew what happened, it was still exciting to watch. My heart raced during the countdown ! Highly recommended.

I was there. The pump intakes became clogged with coral. We had to let the deck crew outside to clean them out.(by orders of the Admiral) After the Bravo shot on March 1,1954,The Romeo shot at 11 megatons was detonated on March 26,1954 in the crater of the Bravo shot. Marines were swimming and drinking cocoanut milk. I didn’t do any of that. They are all gone. culater. Johnron Halderman

  4. That would go against top quality principle as real hyperlinks in the content of a popular blog submit will be definetely remaining with small authority to move on whilst the links in the content of an unpopular weblog post could move on far more authority.
