The tradition I carry on is cooking with my family from the morning all the way until dinnertime every Lunar New Year. We make everything from red bean buns to fried dumplings. When the long day's journey of cooking has finished, we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor with the most delicious meal of all time. As we cook and as we eat, we also get to catch up... before you know it, we're laughing and crying at the same time.
