My Saturday night looks completely different due to COVID-19. My usual Saturday nights are in D.C., coming straight from work. I'm typically rushing to get ready for events, dinner, or to hang out with a friend. Now under quarantine in Dallas, Texas, my Saturday night looks like face masks, movies, junk food with my siblings, writing, praying more, and having buna (coffee) with my mom. My Saturday night has become my family. It has also become myself and taking this time to pause and reflect. Unexpectedly I found gratitude in something scary like a pandemic.
