Psaki also underscored the Biden administration’s push to get kids back in school as quickly as possible, and said that the president does not believe vaccinating teachers should be a prerequisite for reopening schools. The press secretary said Biden strongly believes teachers should be “prioritized” for vaccinations, which is happening in about half of U.S. states. But she said neither the president or vice president believes teacher vaccinations should be a requirement to open schools.
