Let's Play Games

Playing games together is fun and has many benefits for children's growth and development. For example, children can learn social skills such as taking turns, teamwork, communication, and being a good sport. They can also practice emotional regulation skills such as managing frustration when they lose or the game doesn’t go their way. Games can also have educational benefits! Children can learn about numbers and counting when they play games with dice or a deck of cards. They can practice letter recognition and spelling when they play word games.

So whether your family likes to play board games, video games, card games, word games, or active games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, it all equals spending quality time together and learning some valuable life skills.
