The students will be joined by faculty members from Belmont's School of Music. This year's concert will be recorded in Belmont's new Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,700-seat hall on the university's campus in Nashville, Tenn. Belmont's new venue boasts advanced technology, production, and acoustic capabilities for mounting major concerts, plays, operas, dance, musical theater and other performances. "Christmas at Belmont" includes 15 student musical groups, among them the Belmont Symphony Orchestra, Belmont Chorale (traditional choir), Bluegrass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Jazzmin (vocal jazz ensemble) performing a variety of genres.
