Communities of Strength: Honoring Older Americans Month

The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (DHS) hosts a celebration in honor of Older Americans Month, Tuesday, May 18th, 2021, at the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged. The ceremony's purpose is to celebrate senior citizens territory-wide, featuring remarks from the DHS officials, musical guests, a storytelling segment, and local folklore, culture, and much more.
