The Gift: The Stieglitz collection at Fisk University

In 1949 Fisk University received a transformational gift from the estate of Alfred Stieglitz that would shape its educational legacy for generations. The Stieglitz Collection was directed by his wife, Georgia O’Keeffe. The collection includes 101 works by American and European artists such as Picasso, Cezanne, Renoir, Diego Rivera, Toulouse-Lautrec, Charles Demuth, Marsden Hartley, and more.
