“Higher Octaves” is a behind the scenes look at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City as they prepare and present the female produced opera ‘…When There Are Nine’, an opera celebrating the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment. The film also reveals how the Lyric Opera is advancing the roles of women in the opera community.
