The Falling and the Rising is an operatic journey through the comatose mind of a soldier wounded in a roadside attack. As her body struggles to recover, she dreams of fellow soldiers, each one on the road to healing from grief, loss, and trauma. The Falling and the Rising was produced by the US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus, TriCities Opera, and WCNY.
