A workshop series presented by Shameka Sawyer & sponsored by the Leeway Foundation & the Independence Public Media Foundation that teaches high school girls how to operate film equipment by making short documentaries. Three budding African American filmmakers made short documentaries about lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics include hybrid learning, gratitude, and family.
