The issue of Church and State in the GA General Assembly. Should the two be kept separate?

As we look at the various bills in the GA General Assembly that talk about the issue of Church and State, we also have to take a look at the law, and the U.S. Constitution. Should the church cross into state affairs when it comes to these issues? Should they be kept separate? Or, quite frankly, is it not a big deal? Our panelists represent both side of the issue.
