The U.S. Senate has unanimously approved a bill to make daylight savings time permanent. Randy Cerveny, an ASU climatologist, will discuss the bill and what it means for Arizona, which never changes its clock anyway. On Monday, 14 Republican bills died in the state senate. The veteran hiring initiative aims to increase the percentage of veterans in the state's workforce from 8.5 percent to 15%.
