MOST VALLEY RESIDENTS ARE SMELLING SMOKE FROM THE RAFAEL FIRE, WEST OF SEDONA.
THAT FIRE IS NOW 48 PERCENT CONTAINED, HAVING BURNED 78,000 ACRES.
AS FOR THE SMOKE ITSELF, THE ARIZONA REPUBLIC REPORTS THAT HEALTH OFFICIALS ARE NOT SEEING AIR QUALITY IN THE VALLEY EXCEED FEDERAL HEALTH STANDARDS AS YET.
FALLOUT FROM MARICOPA COUNTY'S DECISION TO REPLACE "ALL" ELECTION QUIPMENT INSPECTED AND HANDLED DURING THE STATE SENATE'S REVIEW OF COUNTY BALLOTS.
THE COUNTY SAID THAT THE DECISION WAS DUE TO THE VOTING MACHINES BEING UNDER THE CONTROL OF PEOPLE, QUOTE, "NOT CERTIFIED TO HANDLE ELECTION EQUIPMENT."
TODAY, SENATE PRESIDENT KAREN FANN SAID THAT IF THE MACHINES CAN'T UNDERGO WHAT SHE CALLS A FORENSIC AUDIT, THEN THE COUNTY, QUOTE, "NEVER SHOULD HAVE APPROVED THOSE MACHINES TO BE USED IN AN ELECTION IN THE FIRST PLACE.

SETTING GOALS AND WORKING TO ACHIEVE THEM.
>> IT'S AN ACTIVE PROCESS, DISTINCT FROM OPTIMISM, WE ATTACK THAT POSITIVE OUT LOOK.
IT'S NOT MASSIVE.
IT REQUIRES TO YOU DO SOMETHING, SET THE GOALS, TAKE THE AGENCY TO WORK TO THE GOALS AND FIND THE PATH TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL.
THE ANALOGY OF A GLASS OF WATER.
NOT SAYING IT'S HALF FUEL.
A HOPEFUL PERSON WILL LOOK AT THE WATER SAYING WE NEED MORE WATER.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO.
IT'S AN ACTIVE RATHER THAN PASSIVE PROCESS.
>> TOXIC POSSIBILITY IS ASSOCIATED WITH OPTIMISM, NOT HOPE.
>> OPTIMISM, IT SAYS SMILE.
IT SAYS NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON IN LIFE.
WITH NEGATIVE EMOTIONS, NO MOTOR HOW DIFFICULT IT IS, ALWAYS SMILE.
BE POSITIVE.
PUT UP THE FRONT THAT THINGS WILL BE BETTER TOMORROW.
WHAT A HOPEFUL PERSON DOES IS THINGS ARE DIFFICULT PARTICULARLY COMING OUT OF THE THE PANDEMIC.
IT'S OKAY TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT.
AS PART OF THE PROCESS, SET GOALS AND AGENCY OF PATH WAYS TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS.
AND IN DOING SO WE DON'T DENY NEGATIVE EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS WE ACKNOWLEDGE THEM, WE SEE THEM AS OBSTACLES ON THE PATH.

AND THERE'S AN ACCIDENT.
WE DON'T GIVE UP SAYING WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET TO WORK.
WE DON'T SAY WELL, IT'S A POSITIVE THING.
THE CAR ACCIDENT HAPPENED.
NOW I HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO M P.R.
ON THE RADIO.
WHAT PATHWAYS DO WE TAKE TO NAVIGATE THE OBSTICKAL TO GET TO THE GOAL.
THAT IS APPARENT AND ACTIVE AS OPPOSED TO CULTURE AND PIVOTIES, PUTTING A SPIN OR GOOD VIBE ON ANYTHING THAT IS GOING ON, NO MATTER HOW NEGATIVE.
THE IMPACT OF HOPE ON MENTAL HEALTH.
ON PLAN, SOCIETY, AND INDIVIDUALS AND SOCIETY.

THE RESEARCH IS REALLY PRECISE.
AND COMES FROM THE 1990s ALL THE WAY THROUGH TODAY.
PEOPLE ARE MORE HOPEFUL.
HAVE PHYSICAL OUTCOMES OR LIKELY TO ENGAGE IN SCHOOL, THEY HAVE BETTER JOBS, SUCCEED MORE INTO THE WALK, ALL BECAUSE OF THAT PROCESS.
IN PARTS OF GAME THAT ENGAGE IN FUTURES ORIENTATION, TO REGAIN SUCCESS AND IN A WAY THAT IT EFFICACIOUS.
THERE'S A TONNE OF RESEARCH ENGAGING IN LIFE.
I KNOW THERE'S A NUMBER OF WAYS TO ACHIEVE HOPE.
GIVE US AN OVERVIEW OR THE BEST WAY FOR FOLKS WATCHING SAYING I LIKE WHAT THIS GUY IS SAYING HERE.
BEST UP, FIRST STEPS.
ONE OF THE GREAT STEPS IS A SMALL GOAL SET.
ONE GREAT EXAMPLE.
COMING OUT OF THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC, SOME GAINED A POUND OR 20 AS WE HAVEN'T BEEN AS ACTIVE AS WE WOULD OTHERWISE.
WITH A GOAL SETTING PRACTICE WE SET SMALL GOALS.
I'M NOT GOING TO GO OUT AND RUN 22.6 MILES.
EVERY DAY THIS WEEK, I'LL TAKE MY DOGS FOR A WALK.
NEXT WEEK BUILDING ON THAT.
THEN WE DO THE TRAINING THAT IS REQUIRED.
THAT PROCESS, THE FUTURE ORIENTATION IS GENERAL.
WE ARE COMING OUT OF THE PANDEMIC, AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR WAYS TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE OTHER SIDE.
DO SO, PROVIDE THE REPORT FOR OTHERS.
THAT'S AN OPPONENT FOR US IN A THEATRE OF CULTURE.
WE EMBUE THAT WITH EVERYONE, BY ASKING EVERYONE AROUND US BA ASPECTS OF THAT GOAL-SETTING PROCESS AND WHAT THE FUTURE MAY LOOK LIKE WHAT ACHIEVEMENTS DO YOU WANT IN YOUR WORKPLACE WITH YOUR FAMILY.
CREATING THE PROCESS.
