Homeless surviving the heat, cancer research, jobs for people with disabilities
There is a city-wide effort going on starting today in Phoenix to help the homeless and low-income communities survive brutal temperatures. The ASU team plans to grow crystals in microgravity to prepare proteins for study with the aim of developing drugs that fight cancer with fewer side effects. Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, has a program designed to help people with autism.
