The Democratic National Convention is underway but it looks nothing like previous political conventions as this year’s is being held virtually. Classes began at the Queen Creek Unified School District, but some teachers are not on campus. They resigned due to COVID-19 concerns. Opioid abuse continues to be a health crisis in the U.S. and the pandemic in some ways is accelerating that crisis.
