Arizona played a prominent role in this week's Democratic National Convention and the Invest in Ed tax increase is back on the ballot. Hayden Winkelman Unified School District lost a teacher to COVID-19 earlier this summer. Kim Byrd was teaching a summer class online with two other teachers from the same classroom when she came down with the virus. The state was hit with a record heat wave.
