Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipAs Matt and Wayne said, we are live from Beaufort, Georgia, at Tom Bryden Stadium.
We are here for the class six, a region eight clash between Collins Hill and Buford.
Believe it or not, these two perennial programs have only met for the third time.
Now, there's always star power on both of these programs.
Tonight alone, there are 46 student athletes out there on the field that have an offer in their back pocket.
But what about those student athletes that aren't recognized?
Well, lucky for them, we have a segment that's called make that kid an offer, and it's where we like to showcase and highlight some of those student athletes that we believe deserve scholarships.
Our own Hannah Gooden has more this week.
We start with Jonesboro senior defensive back travion Davis.
He's accumulated 24 total tackles and two pass breakups so far this year.
His position coach said he has great ball skills and has the skillset to play at the next level.
He also said it's scary to think he hasn't even reached his full potential yet.
Next up is secking your senior cornerback in safety Tavon Carson.
Described as a standout athlete and excellent leader.
He's recorded three interceptions, blocked a punt and had five pass breaks.
Breakups.
That's good enough to be named the Gwinnett player of the week and player of the month this season.
He also has a 3.9 GPA.
Then it's Roswell senior center Andrew Ryan.
His stats so far include 22 knockdowns and zero sacks allowed.
He's had an impressive football career, being named the offensive newcomer of the year his sophomore season 2023 all region and second team offensive line award I.
And finally, Creekside senior defensive tackle in fullback Lawrence Wilder, needs an offer.
He's a versatile player that can line up at almost any position.
According to Max Preps, he's notched a total of seven tackles, and he also plays baseball for the Seminoles.
Great stuff as always, Hannah.
And be sure to follow us on social media in case you or someone else you know would like to make our list next week.
Well, let's go ahead and take a look at some scores from around the state.
Take thanks to our friends at Georgia's EMC scoreboard, so much more than electricity.
Let's go to Warner Robins Benedictine winning 14 to nothing in the second.
And let's check out the score.
And Fayetteville.
Will stars Mill stay undefeated?
They are tied right now at 14 against central Carrollton.
And now let's go to Cantrell Stadium and Powder Springs.
McEachern, now behind Harrison 14 to three.
And in Darlin at the ship, we have Jenkins county over MCA, 14 to twelve.
Down to Moultrie we go.
It is tied 14 to 14 against Lounz, Bowden and Manchester.
They are tied seven to seven.
We've got Stockbridge at Ola, zero to ten.
Ola winning.
And last but not least, our web game of the week, Jackson county over Appalachia at the half, 22 to nothing.
So those are a few scores from around the state.
Our own score right here.
Collins Hill is leading Buford seven to three.

Vaping is growing in popularity among Georgia teens, and many wrongly believe it's safer than smoking.
Here to tell us more is Tara Jackson, national account executive for Cigna Healthcare.
Tara, thank you so much for being here.
Absolutely.
What is vaping, and why do parents need to be concerned if their teen is doing it?
Vaping is a huge problem.
One in 14 say that they've utilized an e cigarette in the last 30 days.
Wow.
Most individuals know that cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health.
However, a third of teens think that vaping is safe.
In reality, nicotine in vapes are highly addictive and even more sensitive to teens because their brains are still developing.
So why are vaping rates on the rise among teens?
Besides teens mistakenly thinking that vaping is safe, they also think that vaping is more socially acceptable than traditional cigarettes.
Also, e cigarettes and vapes are highly marketed to teens.
So what can parents do to help their teen kick this habit?
Have a conversation with them about why are they vaping?
Is it stress?
Is it peer pressure?
Also, seek assistance and guidance from your pediatrician.
Most companies offer an employee assistance program that offers a smoking cessation program at no charge.
Tara, thank you so much for being here.
This is such important information.

Right now, Collins Hill is leading Buford at seven to three.
Well, now it is time for Georgia players spotlight brought to you by you save it pharmacy.
And it's special this week because we're featuring two student athletes that are a basketball tandem duo.
Now, they have achieved an incredible feat by each of them scoring 1000 points in basketball.
Now, together, they make quite the duo, but they are bound by more than just the love of the game.
They're actually brothers.
The platform is a very difficult event.
When you dive off the top platform, you're said to be going about 34 miles an hour and it's like hitting concrete when you hit.
So it has to be very precise, very tight, and you have to be very strong when you hit the water.
My gymnastics background has helped a lot with learning how to use the platform to my advantage.
I got into the sport very, very late considering how long everyone else has been doing it.
But the best things about the sport is being on top of the podium and I've gotten to do it a few times.
And so it just is a really good feeling and I want to recreate the feeling.
And thanks so much for that.
Georgia players spotlight by u save it pharmacy.
That was Elizabeth Ann Hobbie from Colquitt county, and we love that story so much.
And again, we'll keep those rolling all season long.
But coming up, we want you guys to stick with us because we'll be talking to buford athletic director Tom Buglis.
Don't go anywhere.
Stick it right here on GPB.
You wouldn't take a call during the big game.
Oh, hey, what's up, man?
You wouldn't be texting while cheering on your team jacket, and you definitely wouldn't want to watch a video while marching with the band.
So why would you drive a car while distracted?
Driving isn't a game.
When you lose on the road, it could lead to a crash.
So when you get behind the wheel, put the distractions aside, drive hands free and save lives.
Heads up, Georgia.
Heads up.
Georgia has teamed up with Shepherd center to teach you about the dangers of distracted driving.
Distractions have been around since we started driving cars, but with cell phones, it's really been brought to the forefront of our attention about how dangerous distracted driving can be.
A cell phone can affect you on any type of distraction level.
Visual distractions, cognitive and manual distractions.
Cell phones are a manual distraction because you're touching the phone, you're adjusting the buttons and pressing the screen.
It's a visual distraction because you're looking for where your fingers are going to hit the phone and for what might be on the phone, whether it's a picture or video.
And it's also a cognitive distraction because if you're interacting with your phone while you're driving, you're thinking about what the information that phone is presenting to you.
So when you get in the car, put your phone away, focus on the road and get to where you're going safely.
The heads up Georgia video contest is back.
If you're a Georgia high school student, we want you to make a 32nd psa about the dangers of distracted driving.

Welcome back to our football Friday in Georgia halftime show presented by regions.
If you're just now joining us, we're live from Tom Ryden Stadium.
Collins Hill is leading Buford seven to three.
And with me right now, we have Buford's athletic director and coach, Tom Bugles.
Coach, thanks so much for joining us.
I know that the first half is actually a lower scoring game than we were thinking.
What have you been liking out there from the Wolves?
We're playing hard.
They're really good.
We knew they were going to have a good team coming in.
We were off last week, so we've had a little bit of time to look at them, but they're, they're tough.
They're five and oh, for a reason.
So it's, it's gonna be a tight game all the way, the end, tight game all the way to the end.
Now we were talking about the star power that's always out here on the field when these two teams match up.
Even though it's only the third meeting, 36 offers alone are on the table for the Buford Wolves.
What makes this program so special and a perennial success?
I think we got such a great history.
The college coaches know that if they come in here, we're gonna have a lot of good players and we do a really good job developing our players.
We have a lot of talent and you know that that shows.
And I was looking at the list today, same as you were, and both teams are really loaded with talent.
So it makes for an exciting football game.
They are.
And next year you'll be kicking off the season hosting Milton with your new stadium that's in development.
Is there anything else going on we should know about?
Well, that's been the big talk about, you know, around here for a while, is when are we going to get in the new stadium?
We hope we might be able to get in at the end of this year, but it looks like it's probably going to be December.
So we've only got four home games this year, so that gives us six next year.
So it should be exciting in that that's going to be a great place for people to come watch high school football.
Absolutely.
We can't wait to get back next year to the new stadium.
Well, coach, I'd like to go ahead and welcome in John Nelson.
He has a very large check for you and the Buford Wolves.
John?
Yep.
Thanks to our friends at Signet healthcare.
And once again, coach, thanks again for being a great partner with us at GPB all week long.
And a great partner with football Fridays all season long.
Our friends from Cigna Healthcare, as I got to do my vanna white impression.
Good to see you.
Thank you.
I appreciate you.
We appreciate Cigna and GPB and all you guys.
And for giving us an opportunity to play on tv and you get that big thing.
You get to put that in your office and hang on to that.
It's great to see it, coach.
We like chicks.
Once again, thanks to our friends at Signet healthcare and coach Bugles.
Great to see you.
Say hi to your dad.
Thank you.
All right.
Thanks, coach, so much.
Sorry, I'm holding all the things.
You want to hand that to me so you can do it?
I've got my computer ready.
Thanks, coach.
Be good.
All right.
John, I love how you said, say hello to his dad.
He was your teacher and coach, right?
Yeah, he was my principal.
Lakeside.
The cab.
Well, and his Corvette collection apparently is second to none.
He has.
I was talking to Tom and he said, yeah, he's got ten Corvettes and he was at a car show this past week.
That's where he is right now.
He's not here, but he still helps coach at the age of 80, wrestling here at Buford High.
No way.
That's amazing.
You know what else is amazing?
We were talking about the stadium that's in development here.
And they open up with Milton next year, which was the first game this year that Milton actually won and beat be Buford.
Part of the deal is like, well, you know, if you come to Milton and be the beginning of football Fridays this season, hey, we'd like to be the one that cut the ribbon with you next season.
That one's going to be a fun one, and it's just down the hill and it's amazing.
So if you're driving up Buford highway, you get to see what's going on.
Love that.
Well, hey, it's now time we.
We'd like to check out some scores from around the state thanks to our friend at Georgia's EMC scoreboard.
More than just electricity.
Yep.
And so you got the early rounds with Nikki.
Let me go through some of the other scores around the state.
Halftime in region 160, Colquitt and lounge.
This one's been back and forth all day.
We can update this one.
It's now 28 28 at the break.
The Thomas County Central leading veterans in region play in middle Georgia.
That one's 38 ten just before the half.
Irwin county and Turner county down in south Georgia.
That one's 1512 worth county and a bit of a surprise.
Leading Thomasville 13 seven.
And so we're going to keep an eye on all these.
Peach County's winning.
Benedictine winning at the half.
We can update that one.
That one's now 21.7 with Warner Robbins Pierce leading cook.
Also 2028 seven at the half.
Richmond Hill in one, six eight beating tipped right now.
Second quarter, 14 three.
What else is on your mind?
What's on my mind, John, is that if the whole reporting thing doesn't work out for you, you'd be a fantastic auctioneer.
Well, either that or just.
Just.
I'll just bring the checks and I'll just sit there and stand and go.
Hi.
Would you like to buy a vowel?
But apparently GPB is all consonant, so I can't help you there either.
Oh, okay.
Well, how about you help me out?
I want to know your prediction right now.
Colin Silk came out swinging.
I love all of my children equally.
She's not getting a prediction out of me other than another great second half of defense.
I want to catch up with these coaches.
I want to hear what they have to say, what adjustments they made, especially with the lack of points on the board.
All right, so let me ask it differently.
Yes.
The score right now.
Washington Buford three.
I don't think we anticipated this low scoring of a game.
No.
So what do you think's going to happen?
Second half.
Well, and I think the point that coach Buglis made, I think it was valid because in catching up with the two coaches leading into this game, it was like, okay, if I'm coach Swick and Collins Hill, I would rather play on Monday than, you know, then play on Friday than wait that week and a half because I think we've seen the week and a half layover and what it means to Buford.
Buford's had a little bit of trouble turning the engine over here in the first, in the first 24 minutes.
Let's see what happens.
And can Collins Hill keep it up?
All right.
As always, thanks, John.
You are all knowing on the interwebs.
Actually, that makes you all knowing.
Yes, exactly.
Omnipotent and omniscient.
I'm just going to go this way.
I'm going to go talk to people.
You need to see yourself out.
Thanks so much for joining us tonight for our football Friday in Georgia halftime show.
As always, find us over there on social media at GPB Sports.
We would love to connect with you.
Thanks again for joining us right here in Buford at Tom Ryden Stadium.
We hope you enjoyed the second half and we'll hand it over to Matt and Wayne.
It'll be the first time that you guys see them for the broadcast right after the break.
We'll be right back.
Squirrels, bats, rats or mice in your attic.

I've been checking food labels for years.
I like to buy local and I like to buy healthy for my family.
So I started checking the labels on our clothes, too.
Did you know synthetic fibers like polyester are pretty much made of oil?
No, thanks.
I look for cotton now, which grows right here in Georgia, a major source of the world's cotton.
Cotton is natural, renewable, sustainable, and buying cotton supports Georgia farmers.
Good enough for me and my family.
Jackson EMC and 34 other Georgia Electric membership cooperatives congratulate Appalachian High School on winning the GHSA Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award.
This award honors schools that exhibit exemplary sportsmanship during competitive events.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Only one school in each region in each classification is chosen to receive this annual award.
The GHSA takes into consideration all aspects of sportsmanship, making the award a tribute to the entire community.
Jackson DMC is once again thrilled to recognize the Appalachian High School wildcats with a cooperative Spirit sportsmanship award.
You can always count on the chief family to embody what sportsmanship looks like.
The students, faculty, staff, leadership and the entire Bear county school system is strong and knows how to persevere both on and off the field.
The spirit embodied by this award has been evident the past month as the community has demonstrated strength and resilience after a day that rocked their community, the state and the entire nation.
The GHSA and the electric cooperatives across Georgia keep the Barrow community in their hearts.
We know the strength of the community will enable them to persevere.
Extremely proud of this community, especially now.
It's a hard working community that loves our kids.
I would like to believe that the school is the center of our community.
Our community recognizes that and invests in it.
I think we've got coaches that model the expectations and behaviors they model love.
They model investment and our kids feel that we want to see students become more of who they are and understand their worldview.
But those moments of aha, I got it and I matter and this is how I fit in and how I can make a difference.
Those are the moments.
We are here for.
Georgia EMC and the 35 participating Georgia electric membership cooperatives are proud to sponsor the Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award.
Congratulations to the Appalachian Wildcats community back at Tom Ryden Stadium.
Halftime getting ready to start this third quarter.
Matt Stewart along with Wayne Gandy in time now for our coaches halftime interview is delivered by Johnny's pizza.
Your original neighborhood pizzeria will send it down to John Nelson.
Thank you very much.
Matt.
Time to get the Collins Hill perspective of things.
When you were talking to us this week, it was about dominating the line of scrimmage defensively.
You look up there, you've only given up the one field goal, and that was late, late in the first half.
Obviously a great sense of pride in that 1st 24 for you, no doubt.
Yeah, we've been ready for this game for a while.
You know, we had a short, short turnaround with a game on Monday versus Mountain View, but it kept us locked in all week.
You know, our guys, they understand what we got to do right here.
We got to make sure that we see their tricks and their checks from halftime and just play our brand of football on offense coming back out.
And I know at the same time you thought that they might be a little sore because of the quick turnaround.
How are they physically right now?
I know that they're going to push through in the 24, but how have they responded to this quick turn, you think they want to win this game so they're going to push through it.
What he said.
That's the halftime go.
Congratulations.
In the second on the first half.
That's coach Swick and that's what things.
That's how things look here with the Collins Hill perspective.
Matt, back up to you upstairs here at Tom Ride.
All right, thank you, Nellie.
And I thought that Collins Hill defense Wayne really played inspired.
Stephen Bargelo, Jvon Hatch, Jayden Martin, of course, Deuce Gerald, who's rated as high as the number one defensive lineman in the country in 2026.
They really got after it at the line of scrimmage and in that front seven, big time penetration, especially in there with Daniels and Gerald in the cleanup.
Work by Bargelo and Hatch just was a top notch.
When you talk about the run game that Bruford puts on the field, and they're going to have to continue that.
As you can see with the offense, that Colin Hill offense just didn't really come along as we thought in that first half.
So it's going to be a defensive battle that they're going to have to win.
All right, let's take a look at your first half stats and you'll see that Buford had 132 yards rushing.
Collins Hill negative 22.
But the difference on the scoreboard was the one big pass play that Collins Hill was able to hit with.
Cross finding Patello for a 76 yard touchdown pass.
Yeah, that negative 22 for Collins Hill has to change.
Jakari Thomas, Maddox, Henriksen has to be able to run the ball.
Cameron Jones getting in, mixing it in the turnovers, just untimely.
The low snaps, the balls on the ground.
And then on the fourth down conversion, neither team has success trying to convert.
Fourth down.
Yeah, you point out the turnovers and neither one of the teams has won but cross.
But Collins Hill was, you know, careless with the ball at times and put him in bad situations.
And second and third and long sent it back down to John Nelson for our second coaches interview delivered by Johnny's pizza.
And again, it is your original neighborhood pizzeria.
Back to back deliveries here.
Time to catch up with coach app.
I know those penalties were driving you nuts in the first half.
Yeah, I mean, I let.
I let the kids know about it.
Let those guys out on the field.
The kids know about it, too.
I just don't, you know, see how it's happening so much.
I mean, we're coaching to do the right thing and kids make mistakes, but, I mean, all of them can't be the truth is all I'm saying.
I know that you also want to try and dictate what's going on at the line of scrimmage, but Collins Hill was getting that in the first 24.
Did.
What was the conversation with both lines to make sure that that would flip for you in the second half?
Oh, yeah, they're good.
I mean, it's just good as anybody we've seen all year long.
We know that.
And so we knew it was gonna be a tough war in the trenches, and we just gotta quit shooting ourselves in the foot and just make plays the way we made plays last couple weeks.
I'm proud of kids.
I mean, they came back and put another drive together and put some points on the board, so we got a chance coming out of the second half.
You got to keep playing beautiful football.
Thanks, app.
Yes, sir.
All right, that's the Buford perspective, Matt.
Two for two.
Back to you to start the second half.
And right off of Nellie's shoulder, you could see Dayton Raiola, their junior quarterback, warming up.
He only threw for seven yards in that first half, John.
Yeah, two for seven.
Just not able to get any kind of verticality to the offense.
Moved around in the pocket, was under pressure a lot with the blitz and the rush that Collins heels can bring, but they're going to have to create some kind of vertical game to get those safeties to back off of the run game.
Still has success running the ball in there with Baker and Irving, but they're going to have to back that back in of Collins Hill up by being able to throw the ball vertical.
Yeah.
Justin Baker was eight carries for 57 yards in that first half.
And he's the over 100 yards of all purpose offense in that first half in his kick and punt returns.
In fact, he had a 34 yard punt return down to the four yard line.
But again, a penalty negates that big punt return by Baker in that first half that probably would have resulted ultimately in a Buford touchdown, which they have not yet been able to do in this game.
And I think the expression on coach Abface said it.
Oh, he was confused.
He's still confused, even at the halftime of why his team is playing with such.
With no discipline out here, especially this far into the season.
Neither one of these teams should be creating these kind of penalties.
Tonight you see Justin Baker, the consensus three star running back, committed to Tennessee for a year now over 19 other offers, including Michigan.
He did have a big first half, a big first half in the return game, and he's going deep right now to possibly return this second half kickoff as Buford's going to have the ball first and your second half kickoff is brought to you by.
Heads up, Georgia.
Park your phone while you're driving.
It saves lives.
So let's get this third quarter started as Damien Sanchez has it teed up and ready to kick off for Collins Hill at six and O on the season.
And at the halfway point of this game, an upset, potentially brewing kick goes to the far side.
Going to be taken at the 16 yard line by McCoy and Dylan McCoy is going to run it up across the 35 to the 37.
And that's where we're going to see the Buford Wolves go on offense for the first time here in the third quarter as Wayne we take a look at your impact players.
For Buford on offense, Rayola and Allen.
And for Collins Hill on defense, web and hatch.
Rayola so talented.
Learning how to leave for this offense.
Have to get some vertical passing going.
Jordan Allen as we've seen in the special team game, the three star making big plays.
Can you get the ball deep down the field to him for Collins Hill defensively contrail web 15 you saw with so much penetration in that first half.
Known Athenae linebacking, core undersized but plays with a lot of heart and they are fast and that's where Jevion Hatch has been making big plays tonight.
Number 33 and your impact players are brought to you by Breda Pest management, official pest control of high school football in Georgia.
So here we go.
Start of the third quarter and Buford down by four points.
Toss goes to Urban and Ethan Irvin is going to get slammed out of bounds by the safety, Jeremiah Proctor.
Proctor with 28 tackles on the season coming into the game and just a sophomore at six one.
A young man with great length and height could grow until an outside linebacker with that kind of height.
Six, 1190.
And this team is led by sophomore.
That has been the surprising turnaround for this team this year.
They have seven, eight sophomores starting and making impactful plays and Proctor is one of them.
Second down and ten.
Irving in the game at running back to start this third quarter.
Irving going to get the handoff again and try to get to the outside and he's going to get shoved out of bounds by Josh Johnson, the defensive lineman.
And it's going to be third down.
Nice job of pulling here by Preston Clark, the center 51.
Trying to get out on the edge here.
Just going to the short side of the field.
Good job of trying to get into the wheels by Cameron bass the corner, buying enough time.
Running out of field.
There is Ethan Irving setting up this third and five.
Seems like Buford's been living in third and five the entire game.
And that's something that Tom hill.
They tried to win.
First and second down, they see.
Third down is fun.
Time for these rushers to come off the edge.
And web and Martin rolls are over.
Five on third down conversions so far tonight.
Justin Baker now in there, running back.
Riola throwing and great catch attempt at the 35 yard line.
If he comes down with it and he does.
What a spectacular catch by Jordan Allen.
And this is what we talked about, trying to get some vertical plays going.
Big arm to the outside there.
Great concentration.
Hands under the ball there by Allen.
Stepping into the throw.
Right there is Rio.
A beautiful ball.
Even more beautiful catch there by Allen.
The senior.
Showing you the hand, showing you the route there by that young Mandev.
Allen.
Committed to Louisville on April 14 over 17 other offers, including Georgia.
It's first down and ten fake toss.
Wyola rolling and throwing and caught by the tight end Cooper Berry at the 20 yard line.
And that'll be another first down.
Nice job there.
Riola getting his footwork set.
We saw him early in that first quarter.
Same kind of plays.
Missed the receiver this time.
A little rollout keeper, left handed quarterback.
Open field there to Cooper Berry.
Big play there.
The Mercer commit.
Barry Buford looks crisp on offense to start this third quarter.
I think that that tongue lashing that coach half gave it.
Half seems to be, at least for now, resonating with the players.
First and ten from the 21.
Loyola to the air.
Missed target Kyle Carpenter on a crossing route at the five yard line.
And you have to deliver that ball right there for your Rio carpenter.
Big frame six.
3210 inside that slot.
Running that slant.
Had to put that ball on the numbers there.
No pressure in your face.
Just relax and deliver the ball.
Royal Riola's already thrown for more yards here on this opening drive than he did the entire first half.
It's second down and ten.
He's committed to Nebraska.
Committed to Nebraska a couple of weeks ago.
Rolling, now, spinning now throwing back to the other side.
Wide open and dropped.
Ethan Irvin had a sure touchdown.
Nobody in the same area code with him on coverage.
And that's going to be an incompletion.
Just a wheel route here.
Wide open.
Ethan Irving, a little roll to the right.
Nice job of filling the pressure.
Getting back to that route there.
Just trying to concentrate and get his feet down and didn't catch the ball.
And you can see how upset Ethan Ervin is with that drop pass.
Would have been a touchdown, but now it's gonna be third down and tend finishing drives.
That's what's big here for Buford.
We've seen him in this area of the field, not finished drives.
Bargelo came on the blitz, now Ryoma is going to run it and die for the first down inside the five yard line.
Bargelo, the outside linebacker, came on the blitz.
And Raiola Reddit.
Nice job.
Filling the pressure like the route, stepping up in the pocket, showing you the athletic ability that he does possess.
He's 63205.
He can move around.
He rarely runs the ball, but he does have the athleticism, as you can see on that play to do it.
17 yard pickup.
It's first and goal to go for Buford just inside the five yard line.
Baker in there at running back and he's going to get the handoff.
And Baker crashes down to the 1 yd line.
And then the ball pops out after he hits the ground.
And it's going to be second down.
Big penetration there by Deuce.
Gerald's number two right in the face of Baker, making him miss having to negotiate bodies.
And yes, he's down both knees, elbow.
Second down and goal.
9th play of the drive.
Opening drive of the second half for Buford.
They have trailed the entire game.
Quarterback keeper and Raiola does not get in.
And there's also a flag down on the play as well.
And now things get a little testy as Deuce Gerald pushes Riola back.
Going to get illegal procedure on the outside.
Receivers were not up on the ball.
These penalties have just been absolutely a killer for Buford the entire night.
Taking away scoring opportunities, stalled drives, and now here where they're on the verge of pushing it in.
Go shift on the offense.
Five yard penalty replay.
Second down.
So second down and goal from the one and a half now is going to be second down and goal from the seven.
Six penalties, 60 yards total for Buford tonight.
Yeah, that's one key.
And as John hasn't talked to coach about just killing this team that typically plays clean, physical football tonight.
Just making those little mistakes like lining up, causing your team.
Five yards on second down, keeper Baker.
And he's going to be dropped.
Great penetration there.
Jay von Hatch, their leading tackler, coming off the edge and getting the tackle.
What a player hatch is showing here tonight.
Only this is at 59185.
More like a safety playing down in the box.
The leading tackler once again coming with that penetration.
He sees the ball.
He's going, he's shooting the gap.
He feels like he can make that kind of play, and he's been doing it tonight.
Consistently hatches the 10th leading tackler in six a football has only one offer that from d three point university, third down.
Riola going to try to run it again, and he's going to drop Cam Daniels.
The three year defensive lineman stops him, and now Buford's going to have to try for another field goal.
That's that penetration that Cameron Daniels and Deuce Gerald has produced consistently tonight.
Having to step up in the pocket, rallying to the ball right there.
Getting off the block is Daniels, the senior 63260 powerful, strong inside player.
Martin Public is going to try a 25 yard field goal.
He hit a 20 1 yd field goal at the end of the first half.
Harkness gets the snap down and the kick is up and good, and Buford has cut the Collins Hill lead to seven six.
Nice, solid drive from Buford, but they stalled on penalties and Collins Hill comes up with the stop at Regents bank.

Yeah.
Only 20 yards to go.
Pretty good back at Tom Ryden Stadium in Buford, Georgia, where 6th rank Collins Hill leads number two Buford seven six four and a half minutes into this third quarter.
Great defensive game so far for head coach Drew Swicks Eagles.
He was the defensive coordinator on the 2021 state championship team, was promoted to head coach when Lenny Gregory left for Gordon Central.
And Drew Swick now teaming up with his defensive coordinator, Corey back.
They've been together seven years.
They're giving up just ten and a half points per game.
Physical, big off defensive line, fast back in.
Basically they play about seven safeties back there and they're doing a great job rallying for the ball tonight.
Short catch, fair catch is made by Petillo at the 30 yard line.
Let's take a look at the impact players for Collins Hill.
On offense, Jakari Thomas and Elijah Patillo.
And for the Buford defense, AJ Holloway and Chris Garland.
When you look at Thomas, he's an in between the tackle, physical runner.
Need to get him going in this second half.
But till, oh, already showed you in that first half with the big deep threat ball down, the feel the kind of impact he can have in the game defensively for Buford, AJ Holloway to three star headed to South Carolina.
The big hitter in the middle, just having a lights out season.
And Chris Garland, a three star Stanford commit big time speed, great hands, great ball skills.
Come in the game with two interceptions and Patello has the only touchdown in this game.
A 76 yard reception from that man right there, quarterback Mchyry Cross.
They call him Duda.
And he starts the third quarter for another fumbled snap.
That's kind of been a story for Collins Hill here in this ball game.
Some trouble with the shotgun snaps, although that was low.
That was certainly catchable and playable.
This is the third time we've seen that.
A little low around the knee right there by cross.
Young south.
More that frustration is with the snapdra.
With a young player, he doesn't want to look away from the defense.
He's, you know, trying to learn his way.
He's young.
Got to get them snaps precisely where they need to be.
Cross going to swing it out here on a flare pattern to Cam Jones.
And Jones not going very far.
Going to get dropped almost right away and it's going to be third down.
The speed of this Buford defense, this all around the talent that they have, they just make it hard.
You really do.
As you saw in that first half with Colin Seal, you have to try them deep.
You try to get some big plays.
A little dink and dunk with the kind of athletes they have is just hard to make any living doing that.
That was Tory Costa made the tackle.
Third down and 17.
Heavy rush from Bryce Perry, right, and it's going up for green.
Intercepted at the 38 yard line.
Ty Green going to return it to the 34.
The four star, number seven athlete in the class of 2026 with 35 offers, including Georgia, comes up with the big interception.
Bryce Perry, right, with a big pressure right into the face here of Buddha Price.
Across.
Forcing him outta.
Underhanded the ball.
Just not really sure was he trying to throw the ball down the field or throw it away, but just.
Just not good football right there by the young man.
Good job of escaping the pocky and the pressure there, right?
Just throw the ball away.
We saw him make that decision in the first half.
We just threw it out of my way right there.
Just.
Just a bad mistake by that young man.
Now Buford has the ball.
Collins Hill territory at the 34 yard line.
After a big mistake by cross right there to just throw the ball up for grabs.
Baker gets the handoff right up the middle.
Justin Baker crashes through the defense down to the 15 yard line.
511 205.
Picking the leg speed.
This young man has it all.
Great vision, finishes, runs.
We've seen this all night long.
He's just one of those guys.
When he gets in the secondary, he gets even more aggressive.
And he is really ready to play that bully ball that we're used to seeing here at Buford.
Averaging 76 yards rushing per game.
He's number four in the region in rushing.
Going to get the ball again and scoot to the outside.
And Justin Baker for the pile on.
And did he get in for the touchdown?
He did.
Touchdown, Buford.
And the Wolves lead for the first time tonight.
And these two plays back to back here by Justin Baker shows you why he's so highly rated.
Headed to Tennessee.
The vision, the jump cut, the speed to get to the outside.
You look at him, you think he's just going to be a thumper downhill.
You didn't you forget how fast he really is?
Able to bounce that to the outside.
They're going for two ball goes to Hartley.
He's able to step inside the pylon for the two point conversion.
And Buford has a 14 to seven lead.
Justin Baker showing off his skills, rumbles to the end zone.
And Buford on top for the first time this evening.
How many people have made it to a thousand points in worth county?
I think four, including me and my brother, and only two in worth county as juniors.
What does it mean to have a thousand career points in high school?
It's pretty good.
That means you score the ball a lot and then you're gonna do what it takes to win.
It meant a lot.
Cause like, my whole family was happy.
You know, my brother had just hit it a couple of games before me.
It was.
It was a great moment.
My dad was happy.
It was great.
I think it's reflection on both of them how much they love each other.
I think it's reflection of how much time they put in the gym and, you know, to make it special, you know, as brothers, you know, there's nothing like a brotherly love.

dot back at Tom Ryden Stadium, where Buford has grabbed a lead on the touchdown run by Justin Baker.
Your governor's red ribbon campaign scoring drive two plays, 34 yards, took just 37 seconds after the interception by Ty Green gave them the short field.
Both runs there by Baker, who had a top notch first half running the ball, showing you once again getting in a groove, showing you his speed to get to the outside.
Big time touchdown by that young Mandev.
So now Collins Hill needs to regroup.
A big mistake by their quarterback.
McKyry Cross gave them that short field.
It was just a really almost inexcusable interception that he threw.
Yeah, the way the defense is playing for Collins Hill, you just can't make those kind of turnovers in that situation.
By Duda Cross on the bounce.
Cam Jones going to take it for the kick return and Jones going to bring it up the 30 yard line.
I mean, there are interceptions that you throw and then there's balls that you just toss up into the air, up for grabs and cross.
We'll see if he's able to recover and rebound from that.
He's done an extraordinary job this season.
Stepped in in their season opener, came off the bench to lead them to victory over Grayson, and he's led them the six straight wins to begin the season.
And that's some of the poise that a young sophomore is going to have to learn how to deal with in those situations.
He got under the pressure, looked like he was going to run out of bounds, saw something downfield late.
But that's not even a real pass.
That's something in a shovel pass kind of situation.
Just not a good decision by the young man.
Let's see if the Eagles can rebound from that cross.
A heavy rush, steps up in the pocket, runs and throws over here on the far sideline.
Going to pick up one on the play on the pass to Patello.
Nice job.
Jaden Davis out there on the outside man, it has a big future.
511 185.
Junior rallying to the ball.
You saw right there Bryce Perry right the big hit.
Finishing that play off Jaden Davis, one of coach Brian Applings.
Make that get an offer nominees on the defensive side of the ball tonight due to cross six for 1398 yards.
A touchdown and interception.
76 of the 98 came on one play.
Throws again to the far side and that's going to be out of bounds as he tries to go to his tight end.
Gavin Schumann who has a couple of catches tonight and it's going to be third down.
Good protection.
Only a three man rush.
Got rushed there with the throw is cross.
Set your feet and deliver the ball.
No pressure in your face and man just has a settled down right here.
Get a completion down the field and that's tough to do when this kind of defense is coming at you in the secondary.
They have just hard to find a white jersey open.
Hard rush coming off the edge.
Cross runs away from it.
Throws will not be enough for the first down.
The catch was made at the 39 yard line by till.
Oh, but you got to have awareness of sticks and where you are on the field and they're two yards short.
Get a senior right here has to know where to go and whether trying to make this catch.
You can see him kind of drift back to the ball trying to keep his feet in bounds.
But you got to get to that yard marker and stay there holding on the offense.
Ten yard penalty from the previous spot.
Replay third down.
So that's going to push it back.
Interesting in this situation the coach atmosphere decided to take the penalty.
It could have been fourth and long the way the defense is playing.
But here still feeling good about his defense right here.
Just want to keep everything in front of you.
If you buford, no penalties, no face mask.
That would just give Coliseum a first down.
Cross gonna go down, drop to the quarterback.
Sack by Bryce Perry.
Right freak athlete with great speed.
Off the edge right there.
Little rip.
Move to the inside, sell to the inside, move there to ronald more.
Then go back outside.
63255 as good as advertised as it is in the state of that position.
Consensus four star.
ESPN and rivals have him rated as high as the number three defensive lineman in the country.
Bryce Perry Wright, the cousin of Grady Jarrett.
30 offers including Alabama, Clemson and Auburn.
And that look Brady Jarrett ish right there.
That young Mandev.
What a big future he had.
Only a junior and so much talent.
Line drop kick from Bonacci.
Going to bounce away from Justin Baker and take a big role for the Eagles all the way down to the 37 yard line.
So a 46 yard kick by Bonacci and Buford going back on offense.

316 to play here in the third quarter.
Buford going back on offense and leading 14 to seven.
Here's a look at the Buford resume.
Four and one overall.
One and oh.
And the region number two in the GPB six, a top ten.
This is just their second home game of the season.
Of course, they are the gold standard in Georgia here in the two thousands.
14 state championships, 14 and seven all time.
And 21 state championship game appearances.
Coach Apple and already three state championships and only a short time here as the head coach in six years.
Riola going to wind up and throw it deep.
Got a man streaking on big Jordan.
Touchdown, Buford.
Dayton Raiola showing you the arm talent.
We talked about trying to find something vertical in this offense in the second half.
And that's his main target.
Track speed.
Jordan Allen, good protection, play action fake, big time pocket to step into this throw.
Air it out.
And that young man headed to Louisville.
Jordan Allen showing you why we're so impressed with his speed.
Consensus three star rated as high as the ESPN number 35 wide receiver in the country.
And Dayton Raiola with his seven touchdown pass of the season.
Looking like a different quarterback here in the second half, they get the hold down and the kick is up and good.
And a 21 seven lead for Buford as they have scored two touchdowns here in the third quarter.
You established the run with Baker and Irving.
Sell the play action.
Fate long developing play there.
Great pocket.
Big time arm there by the young three star Raiola, who's committed to Nebraska.
And we knew Jordan Allen.
If there was an aspect that this Buford team needed to start getting going, and that's him deep down the field.
Coach Brian Appling says that Jordan Allen has just kind of picked up track over the last couple of years.
Has really improved his speed.
Says he might be able to outrun Isaiah Bond and KJ Bolden.
Yeah, I'm gonna take that bet.
I'm gonna go down and we get them together.
But Jess the junior and that young man right there.
Something special just in a long line of history of receivers here.
To just have that explosiveness that you rarely see and that you have to have.
When you have a team that's really kind of based off the run and defense, you have to have those explosive plays down the field.
Jordan Allen is their guy.
Came in with a team leading 17 catches on the season.
Number two in region eight, and that's his fourth touchdown reception of the year.
And Buford's opened up a two touchdown lead.
And now Collins Hill facing a sense of urgency as the ball is clear, caught by Petillo at the 25 yard line.
As we're now late in the third quarter.
Matt Stewart, Wayne Gandy, John Nelson and Nikki Noto Palmer.
Let's check in with John Nelson right now.
Matt spent some time kind of looking at the offensive line coaches and the position coaches for the Collins Hill offense before they came out for this particular possession.
And Wayne, the o line coaches, they were trying to remind the offensive line about steering and taking control of the Buford front line to get the blocking assignments right because they seem to have left them in the third quarter.
They got to regain all of that stuff here, starting with this drive down 14.
Big offensive line in Collins Hill and Thomas and Henderson Jones.
They have to get the run game going.
Too much pressure right now is being put on cross and this O line, it starts up front, finishing blocks.
Jakari Thomas gets the handoff and a flag comes down.
That was Mantras.
Walker making the tackle for Buford come in this game.
You look at the stat sheet.
Buford only eagle the ship on the offense.
Five yard penalty, previous spot replay, first down.
And Buford only at this point has four or five sacks coming into this game.
But that is not the kind of talent they have.
Rushing the pass, you can't be.
And once again, having a penalty, making it just how Buford wants it, second and third and long.
So they can let morrow, they can let Rivera, Walker, Holloway be able to sit and dictate to this offensive line.
They're going to have to establish the run and consistently run the ball down the field.
Clock running under three minutes to play here in the third quarter.
It was seven three at the start of the half.
18 points on the board for Buford here in this third quarter.
Cross swings it out there complete and stopped almost immediately.
That was Deuce Gerald's first time we've seen Deuce on offense tonight.
And that's the thing about that young man.
Uber talented.
Can play some running back just on a little swing route, throwing the ball out to our 260 pounder out on the edge.
No more power runs.
Goal line right there.
Just showing you another aspect of his personal, individual talent that makes him so highly rated.
Yeah, well, Drew Swiggs said he felt like Deuce Geralds might be the best guy on either side of the ball for his team.
Certainly has the recruiting chops to go along with it.
Rated as high as the number nine overall prospect in the nation next year.
Ball thrown is complete and nice catch.
And then the ball is out at the end of play.
Let's see, they're going to rule that it goes out of bounds and it is Collins Hills ball after Atticus Joseph made the catch.
Nice job here of getting on the outside side by dude across, throwing on the run, showing you his ability to do that.
Then just a big hit by Pilate right there to finish the play.
Yeah.
Number five per Lottie comes into the scene there per Lottie, is the highest rated senior prospect in the game.
He was committed to Georgia and flipped to Southern Cal on July 30.
Rated as high as an ESPN four star and number nine linebacker in the entire country for 2025.
3rd down with the hard count here is flaws.
You can see dudes Gerald in the backfield at fullback.
Wow.
Great penetration by Buford.
Blows up the play and they end up losing yardage on third down.
And this is all about Nico Maggio, number 58, coming in the penetration of the field.
Deuce Gerald having to take on him in the backfield.
He's going for the linebacker and then the nose tackle.
Maggio shows up, just messes up with the penetration there.
Nowhere for Jakari Thomas.
Run that ball.
Maggio made the play.
Bryce Perry Wright got the tackle in the TFL.
He's got two of those and a quarterback sack tonight.
Fourth down punting situation.
Bonacci standing at his 18 yard line.
Rugby style kick.
And it's a beauty.
Baker retreating to the 28 yard line.
Baker takes a big lick right in the middle of the field after 40.
1 yd kick by Bonacci.
Hopefully Bakers.
Okay, so Jordan Allen right there this time returning.
Yeah, it was Jordan Allen.
Pardon me.
Looks like he took a big hit.
Yeah, he's wobbly.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's hopefully.
Coach is walking out there to check on him.
I thought maybe it was his shoulder, but it looks like it's.
Yeah, more in the head.
Really check him out.
Time for one more play here in this third quarter as Buford goes back on offense.
Much better third quarter for Dayton Raiola.
After a pedestrian first half, Loyola slings it out there.
Nice ball goes to Hannibal Navies.
And that is the end of the quarters as Navies gets it up to the 40 1 yd line.
End of three quarters at Tom Ryden Stadium.
Number two Buford has surged back to take a 21.7 lead on number six, Collins Hill.

Heads up, Georgia.
Parking your phone while driving saves lives as we welcome you back.
The top Ryden Stadium in Buford, Georgia.
Start of the fourth quarter.
Buford Wolves on top of Collins Hill 21 seven.
Matt Stewart along with Wayne Gandy, John Nelson, nikki not a Palmer and our entire GPB team and true swicks team that led seven three at halftime.
Now trailing a two touchdown deficit.
And they're on defense.
And it's second down and one for Buford or second down and two for Buford to start the quarter.
Ty Green on the run.
And Ty Green, first down and more with the stick farm as he steps out of mountains at the 46 yard line.
First down.
But make that kid offer Ty green here.
Watch how he steps out of this tackle there.
That's your third or fourth running back.
Little still farm gets to the edge.
Just can't be brought down there, young man.
61195.
That's how deep of a running game Buford brings to the field, where a guy like Tyree Green is your fourth running back in the game.
First and ten.
He's also their starting safety and rated as high as the number seven athlete in the country.
Handoff goes to Ty green again.
Yeah, they have a stable of running backs, primarily.
Justin Baker and Ethan Urban are going to get the bulk of the carries, but they'll use Dylan McCoy.
They'll use Tigreen.
Embarrassment of Richmond Richards, as I like to say.
Right.
It's a team that focuses on running the ball, playing great defense, taking shots down the field.
Everything is predicated on establishing the run game.
The one thing the offensive line has done here in the second half is they have stopped penetration.
You don't see those linebackers and safety being able to hit those gaps as clean as they were in the first half.
Second down, handoff goes to Dylan McCoy.
Just mentioned his name.
And Dylan McCoy down to the 39 yard line.
Flag goes out as a body goes flying to the ground.
We'll check the penalty call.
They were going to get a late after ball.
Personal foul here.
And when I was going through their stable of running backs neglected to mention Jamir Cantrell, who has a carry came on and end around here tonight.
Stop taking count.
Dead ball.
Personal foul on the defense.
15 yards from the end of the run, it'll be first down.
So tackling 15 yards and another first down for Buford.
And that's going to move the ball down to the 25 yard line.
No linebacker, Jack Hernandez, number 38, taking exception there to Brayton Burton.
The left guard finishing the block after the whistle there can't cost your team that kind of yardage.
21 to seven on the board for Buford.
You got to be smarter.
The young sophomore, Jack Henderson, who's been playing great this year for Collins Hill.
Buford has come alive here in the second half.
18 points on the board in the third quarter.
Heavy wash is hit as he throws.
It's going to fall incomplete, and a flag comes out at the end of the play.
Control.
Webb, who's one of the top rated edge rushers in the country for 2026, was able to get to Riola.
Let's check the penalty call in.
Ellsberg ran downfield on the offense, the five yard penalty.
Previous spot, replay, first down, big cat web coming off the edge.
Jaden Martin.
This team comes into this game fun time is third down, 33 sacks to start this game off.
They have the kind of athletes, and that's something they haven't been able to create.
They haven't been able to create a lot of third and long for Buford so they can let these guys rush to pass.
Update on the game you were watching while we were having our technical difficulties.
Jackson county has a 22 six lead on Appalachian now in the fourth quarter.
Appalachian returning to football after the unspeakable tragedy that happened at that high school last month.
First and 15.
Raiola steps up to avoid the rush now throws, crosses, body flag out.
And Jordan Allen, who got shaken up on that punt return just a few moments ago, back out there and makes another great catch at the 22 yard line.
But check the penalty call.
Getting a little testy out here.
Both of these, especially in that offense and defensive line.
Some late ball antics between both of the lines there.
Three flags out on the field.
And you saw Appalachian return to football tonight on our web game.
We appreciate you watching that while we were away here.
We have multiple files on the play, two live ball files, then a dead ball file.
The two live ball files will offset, then we'll paralyze the dead ball file.
We got holden on the offense, personal foul, roughly, the passer on the defense, those offset.
Then we have a dead ball, personal foul on the offense, 15 yards, previous spot, replay, first down.
That's just way too much for me to assimilate right now.
I'm not sure that the holding and the one personal file think the two personal files cancel each other out and the holding look like they're going to mark off the personal file here, here at the end.
Well, as I was saying before, the explanation by the officials, of course, many of the high schools in the state of Georgia, you've seen the Atlanta Falcons in solidarity with the appalachian community, wearing the Appalachian A, as the Buford Wolves are doing here tonight on the back of their helmet.
And you have to imagine the courage that it took for that coaching staff and those players to even think about going back to the field after not just having the shooting at the school, but it being one of their own.
The defensive coordinator, coordinator who lost his life.
Lost his life.
So big courage and our hearts goes out to those families in that school and the community as well.
Coach Aspen Wall, who lost his life, one of the four victims in that shooting, two students and another teacher, along with Coach Aspen Wall.
Just tragic and heartbreaking.
Great for them to be able to get back to football and that by no means, you know, it just, just tried to get back to some kind of normalcy.
And we've seen in recent times where programs, high school and college, have decided just not to play the rest of season.
And something that tragic happens.
University of Virginia a couple of years ago where they did not play their last game.
Handoff goes to McCoy, sidesteps a tackle, steps out of bounds at the 36 yard line.
Buford trying to improve to five and one on the season and two and o in the region.
A loss here for Collins Hill would drop them to two and one in the region.
And by no means does this lock up a region championship nor knock Collins Hill out of it.
It'll make it much more difficult for the Eagles are going to have to get some help.
And Buford, of course, and both these teams still have Mill Creek left in front of them.
In fact, Collins Hill has them next week, and Buford has them in the regular season finale.
Third down and 21.
Raiola on a screen pass goes to Baker.
And Baker spins down to the 21, 22 yard line and another flag is out on the floor.
Just a screen pass out on the edge.
Get the ball into the most explosive player in your receiving room, Jordan Allen, who's back out on the field like he's limping after that play.
Illegal shift on the offense, five yard penalty, previous spot replay.
Third down.
I'll tell you what, between Jordan Allen and Justin Baker, they have two of the most dynamic playmakers in the state of Georgia.
Speed just great in the open field with the ball.
You can see why they return kicks because it's like once they get the ball in their hand, it looks like a kickoff for a punt.
They can just make anyone miss.
Hard to bring down some confusion right there in that penalty.
Just rotating a lot of bodies, a lot of different running backs coming in and out of the game.
Raiola, heavy rush and deuce Gerald with the quarterback sack, his 11th of the season.
Bruce Gerald.
Coach Wick talked about him right there, working on the guard.
Power being able to explode off the ball.
Just hard for a guy like that to be blocked one on one.
You have to typically send the center in that direction there, find itself on a one on one matchup.
Just has all the tools as a young man, as a junior, six three, about 260 explosive as we saw catching the ball out of the backfield.
He's already broken Tamon Fox's program record.
Of course, Tamon Fox would go on to star at North Carolina and now in his second season with the New York Giants, and coach Wick compared him to Alabama great Will Anderson, who's down with the Texans.
Just one of those relentless pass rushers seeing him out on the field early, built similar to an air Aaron Donald for the Rams.
He has that kind of twitchy in between linebacker quickness that CJ Hector in his first game back there, certainly happy to see him.
CJ Hector, one of their stars on this team, actually was a key member of their state championship team back in 2021.
Suffered a high ankle sprain in their preseason scrimmage against North Cobb.
Tried to come back.
It gave out on him in that season opener against Grayson and here in game number seven just now getting back.
But what an addition that's going to be for them.
Not only defensive b, but also offensive.
Probably their top wide receiver when he's healthy.
Yeah, when you look at him and his ability to stretch the field right now they haven't playing safety, just trying to work him back into the mix.
But offensively, they're going to have to get him going.
Yeah, Carpenter's punt is going to roll dead at the seven yard line, a 40 yard kick.
Collins Hill back on offense when we get back, if critters are creeping in your attic, Breda Pest management will work to protect your home and kick those critters out.

Kyle what do you think?
Jasper honestly, I think that polyester shirt's affecting your game.
What?
I think cotton would have been a better choice.
Cotton?
Yeah, it's come a long way.
You know, nowadays cotton breathes and makes moisture great.
Plus, buying cotton means supporting Georgia farmers.
I think that's wonderful.
Okay, sure.
But what do you think about the putt?
Oh, Israel 21 seven.
Buford on top of Collins Hill with 744 to play in regulation.
Here, Tom Ryan Stadium.
As we take a look at the Collins Hill resume.
Six and oh overall.
Number six in the GPB, six a top ten.
They're undefeated.
Also 20 in the region.
Ten and two in their last twelve games dating back to the last time they played Buford.
Last season.
Of course, 2021 state champions for the first time in program history.
One of the greatest teams ever assembled in GHSA history.
That 2021 team.
Young man named Hunter know?
Yeah, Travis Hunter.
Almost intercepted, almost picked off.
Would have been a pick six for Tory Coston.
Just a big long throw here.
Lots of time.
Really haven't been threatened down the field in that one big play.
Patillo here, corner just sitting on the route, breaking on the ball.
Hand the balls all over her hands all over the ball.
Should have been picked there by the corner.
So second down and ten.
Following the near pick by Costin cross, here comes a heavy rush.
He gets it out of there and throws it out of bounds this time and it's going to be third down.
Are they going to drop a flag on that?
If they do, that's going to be a safety.
If that's intentional grounding out of the end zone, that's a safety.
And you can see Jayden Martin, number 54, upset, helmet came off.
He's having to leave the game.
So there was no flag dropped.
You thought the, the Buford coaching staff thought there should have been.
And so now it's gonna be third down and tend 733.
You see McKyrie cross, eight of 18 for 111.
Had the big one long touchdown pass in the first half and not much else other than that.
This is the downward.
Buford has excelled tonight.
Force and third and long pressure off the edge with Mauro and Perry Wright.
Morrow just jumped offsides.
Encroachment on the defense.
Five yard penalty remains third down here.
Has to be careful with the ball, try to get it on the move.
Get something outside of the pocket.
Saw Hector in motion, so he's in there on offense.
Cross wants to wind up and throw it as deep as he can and it's going to be caught at the 49 yard line by Patello.
Second big catch of the night by Elijah Patello.
But there is a flag down at the six yard line.
We had a pre snapdevelop penalty called and then we had a quarterback roughing the passer there as Cross got out of the pocket.
Took a big hit there at the end by Nelson, the linebacker.
You can see due to cross right there.
Shaking up.
Big hit there.
We have two live ball files on the play.
Eagle shift on the offense.
Personal file.
Rough of the passer with targeting on the defense.
Offset replay.
Third down.
Nelson for targeting there.
You can see right as Cross went to deliver the ball.
Just heaving the ball down the field to Elijah Patillo.
Taking a big hit.
That erases a 53 yard completion.
That would have put the ball on the other side of the 50 yard line.
So now third down and five.
Following the offsetting penalties.
Here comes pressure off the edge.
And it's caught for a first down.
Schumann, the tight end with another first down.
Grab.
Eight yard pickup up to the 19 yard line.
Nice job there by cross filling the pressure coming from his right.
Going to where the pressure came from right there.
The Schumann nice throwing catch.
And a nice read by the young sophomore cross.
So first and ten, Collins hill desperately need to get this ball down the field.
Punch it in for a touchdown.
Lumen on the right side of that offensive line.
Proud of the snap.
False start offense.
Five yard penalty remains.
First down.
That was on the right tackle, Jaden Martin.
He has been there starting center most of the season, but suffered a dislocated finger two games ago and did not play in Monday's win.
Not on the offensive line, but played just defense.
And here he is playing both ways again tonight with a dislocated finger.
Just not snapping the ball tonight.
And moving from center to right tackle at the last moment.
Just playing both ways.
Cross tries to air it out over on the far sideline.
Looking for Atticus Joseph.
And it's going to be incomplete.
You see the arm strength and cross.
He can air the ball out.
He can get it down the field that time, just not being able to get it home.
He's six to 170, I think, you know, he gets in the weight room and kind of grows into his body a little bit.
He's got a chance to be a really nice quarterback.
And he's already a good quarterback.
And even better than that.
Coach says he's electric.
He has great speed.
He's a track kid.
Doesn't run the ball much.
But that'd be the next part of his development next year.
The RPO game.
Cross dancing around out there and gets leveled by Holloway.
Threw it out of bounds.
Not a man you want to see on the short side of the field.
Is a j off away as you get out of trouble.
And then you see him standing in your face.
Little roll out to get outside of the pressure there and they dropped the flag really late and are they calling that?
I think they're going to call intentional browning round call and it really looked like Holloway just knocked him off for being able to throw the ball down the field.
Intentional grounding on the offense.
Sauce on loss of down.
Half the distance from the spot of the file be third down.
I think you could certainly make that argument that he was trying to go downfield with it and Holloway just knocked him sideways.
He looked like he was loading up to go down the field and the, the big hit is what pushed his arm to throw the ball on the sideline there.
That's a tough penalty for Collins.
Hill backs him up to the five yard line.
They got to get it out to the 29 to pick up a first down.
Cross gets out of the end zone to avoid the safety and gets tackled at the two yard line by Morrow.
Good job of the defensive line.
Pressing the pocket, keeping the old line just nowhere to escape to.
And the great speed there by Morrow.
Elite pass rusher in the state.
Great job.
600, 4240 to four star getting off the block.
Only a junior making that play.
The acceleration off the block is what made that for that young man.
Yeah, Morrow's got 23 offers, including Auburn, Georgia and Alabama.
Rated as high as the number ten defensive lineman in the country for 2026.
Now Bonacci kicking out of the end zone and Jordan Allen going to take it at the hop, the 44 yard line and Allen gets about a ten yard return.
Step aside, take a break as Buford goes back on offense with five minutes left in this room.

Over here.
Welcome back to Tom Ryden.
It is a 14 point margin, 503 to go here in the fourth quarter.
Let's take the tour gorge.
We're starting to get some final scores here around the state of Georgia.
Thomas County Central puts up 61 tonight in region play against veterans.
A back and forth crazy game down south west over in Bainbridge.
Three minutes to go.
Bainbridge now back in front of that 137 34 louds and Colquitt tied at 35.
That one's in the fourth.
And a win for Richmond Hill tonight.
They win.
They go to six and oh in region 160.
Matt, it's getting really interesting down south.
Back up to you.
Yeah, that's, of course, a very tough region.
Always is.
Historically, and maybe even more so here in 2024.
Buford back on offense and Raiola hands off to urban.
Irvin trying to bounce it outside.
And he does.
Gets close to ten on the run down to the 24 yard line.
Great vision here by urban.
Nothing in the middle.
The jump cut.
Look to the outside, the speed, acceleration right there.
That's a tackle away from scoring a touchdown.
Each and every time he gets the ball is Ethan Irving.
Jaden Hunt, who made the tackle.
Runs off the field.
Looks like he's grabbing his left hip.
First and ten ball at the 24 yard line.
Toss goes to Irvin, to the short side.
And Irvin Webb makes the tackle.
Shoves him out of bounds at the 22 yard line.
Line.
That's a great battle right there.
Irving running right into the face of big cat Webb.
Showing you the athletic ability to juke.
Move right there in the open field to create that small game control.
Web 16 offers, including Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Auburn.
Rivals four star rated as high as the number eight edge rusher in the country for 20, 26, 45 total players in this game with college scholarship offers.
Irvin up the middle.
J bomb hatch made the tackle.
I'm correct, Matt.
I think that is the first time tonight that we've seen one running back for Buford carried the ball consecutively in the game.
And this is hard on these back.
They are great, but backs like to get in a groove as well here in Buford.
Typically every one to two plays, they rotate out.
As you can see.
Justin Baker back in the game replacing urban.
Irvin's got 99 yards rushing on twelve carries.
Baker gets the rock and Baker cups back up in there down to the ten yard line.
That'll be a first down run for Buford.
And it's three first and goal to go.
So the four star replaced the three star and the four star athlete replaces him.
And they just keep running the ball.
Good job.
As I said in the second half by the offensive line.
And one thing that Collinse heel was having in the first half was penetration in this half.
The offensive line has cut down the splits and really shirred up their blocks, creating these holes for these running backs.
Baker now has 101 yards rushing.
Now more than that as he dives forward to the six yard line.
So between Baker and Irvin, over 200 yards rushing between that pair alone.
As you take a look at the top five prospects for the Buford Wolves.
Bryce Perry Wright, the four star for 2026.
Jaden Perladdy.
Devin Williams, who hasn't played at all this year.
He's an Auburn commit battling back from an injury.
They hope to get him back before the season ends.
Tyree Green, number 13.
We've seen him play safety in running back.
And Nazir McCoy, the four safety.
Four star safety who has 19 offers.
So they're deep, they're very that show.
This is so much talent here.
That's just five.
They got 30 other guys with college offers.
It's hard to believe that they do.
And that is Dylan McCoy right there rumbling down to the 1 yd line.
McCoy's got six offers, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and NC State.
He's rated the number three all purpose back in the country for 2026.
Nice pull by Graham Houston, the left tackle.
The physicality of McCoy finishing that run, punishing the white jerseys as he tries to get in for the touchdown.
He's 511, 215.
He's built for it.
He looks like a linebacker running the ball.
Now they flex him out.
The play got blown up right away and Collins Hill says they've got the ball.
And they do.
They've got it.
Cam Daniels ends up on top of it and Buford is yelling for an off size call, trying to keep the ball.
I don't see any.
Is their flag on the field?
I don't see it.
Not sure you can petition a flag if there's no.
There's no flag on the field.
So the officials are talking this thing over, trying to decide if it's a fumble.
And if it's a fumble, is it Collins Hills ball?
And now one of the officials has dropped the flag.
But I'm encroachment defense half the distance of the goal.
Replay the down.
Very interesting call.
Never really seen improachment call after the play is over.
That's probably why Drew Swig, standing on the field at the basically the Buford O line, told them that he was offside, but no one threw a flag.
Now, the ball did not move, but the rest of the line moved on that play.
So from our angle, if anyone was offside, it would have been the offensive line of Buford.
But on to the next play.
Raiola going to hand off to McCoy and Dylan McCoy strikes into the end zone for another Buford touchdown.
And that should put the game to bed, if it's not already been.
So it's 27 to seven, just a big physical runner in Dylan McCoy following AJ Holloway into the end zone.
Coming off your left side, blocked down kick out, going in for the touchdown.
Great job there by Holloway leading the way.
Dylan McCoy, physical.
215.
Big bag.
So a big night.
Over 200 yards rushing for this Buford team.
McCoy scores just his second touchdown of the season.
That's the thing about this Buford team.
He got all these three and four stars and none of them have overwhelming statistics because, you know, they have to share the ball.
Yeah, that's the one thing you can't really figure out.
If you're just going by stats, you really just have to let the game watch the game when you watch Buford, because you look at the stats sheet and it seems like they don't have the talent, you don't have any big numbers based on stats.
It's not based on stats after the play, first of all, on the offense, that will be taken on the ensuing kickoff.
So 27 seven lead for Buford as they are now two minutes and 34 seconds away from improving to five and one on the season and two and oh in the region.
And Collins Hill is going to suffer their first loss of the year.
And they've got another tough one coming up next week at Mill Creek.
Short week for Collins Hill.
They played on Monday, came in here, the coach Wick felt like that could be an advantageous and we saw in that first half, especially defensively, they were playing at a high tempo.
Buford offered two weeks and they kind of played the first half offensively like they were still office well.
But in this second half, and I'm hoping that recording of coach app at halftime just gets lost.
No one needs to hear that because it was motivating Tove Letty is on for the Pat Dawson Whitkey is the snapper, Sam Harkness is the holder and it hits the upright.
So the score remains 27 to seven.
Dylan McCoy takes it in from 1 yd owl.
It's been all Buford in the second half.
Football Friday's in Georgia.
He's presented by the governor's office of Highway Safety, reminding you to park your phone while driving saves lives.
Heads up, Georgia.
Say hi.
You wouldn't take a call during the big game.
Oh, hey.
Hey, what's up, man?
You wouldn't be texting while cheering on your team jacket.
And you definitely wouldn't want to watch a video while marching with the band.
So why would you drive a car while distracted?
Driving isn't a game.
When you lose on the road, it could lead to a crash.
So when you get behind the wheel, put the distractions aside, drive hands free and save lives.
Heads up Georgia DBHD and the governor's Red Ribbon campaign is all about Georgians standing together for substance misuse prevention.

Greenville four star athlete and Tavius Richardson flips from South Florida to Notre Dame.
Colquitt county defensive lineman Jartavis Flournoy goes with Georgia State.
And Douglas county linebacker Braxton McLester, who we saw a couple of weeks ago here on GPB, goes with Georgia Southern.
And for Richardson, that's a big flip from one temperature to the other, from Florida to South Bend, Indiana.
And we got that one recruiting headline in there for John Nelson's alma mater, the lakeside Vikings.
It was our top headline.
Makai Williams Lee committing to Clemson.
First recruiting trip I ever took was to Notre Dame.
Was it?
It was too cold, too cold.
I was from central Florida.
It was just too cold.
Too cold for Haynes City, Florida.
Right ball is bouncing around and Collins Hill was able to cover it.
So they're going to get this one final offensive possession, at least it would appear as they're going to take over at the 35 yard line.
So, Wayne, what's our thoughts here on this Buford team?
They were kind of in a slumber in that first half and we were wondering what's going on, but they really.
Maybe it was abs locker room speech, I don't know, something little fire on them.
They were a different team in the second half.
Well, two weeks off is it takes a little while to get up to speed, especially a team that comes in, got a big win against them last year playing with a lot of fire.
And it took a second there for this Buford team to start looking like Buford playing their ball.
A lot of mistakes, a lot of penalties there in the first half.
We talked to coach app as he came out of halftime and they cleaned that up in the second half.
So cross wants to throw the ball and throws it out of bounds and you even, you know, we talked to Drew Swick this week and he said, look, I would rather be in the position we're in, playing on Monday night and then playing again on Friday than having two weeks off.
I like the fact that our guys are locked in and it's been all football these last couple of weeks.
Thought you can catch them a little by surprise.
Already kind of in a groove and a lot is something that has to happen.
We want to get in a groove.
It takes a moment, want to get in that mentality.
A lot of time off for Buford.
A lot of guys, as we talked about, they rotate a lot already.
So it takes a minute for them to sometimes get going.
But that first half was indignant of how they play.
It's a lot of ugly games that they learn how to win.
Ball goes to Cari Thomas down the sideline.
Thomas finally shoved out of bounds by Benji Wyatt.
Corey Thomas, we talked about him.
He's the thunder of the lightning of that running back room.
The real thumper they have here.
Just out on the edge, out in open space, showing you that speed that he possesses.
And Benji Wyatt showing a lot of speed himself in that outside linebacker position, able to run down Thomas.
So first and ten for Collins Hill.
Ball is sitting on the 19 yard line as they try to get a late touchdown here.
Flag out.
Cross throws to the end zone for Patello, who catches it without a boundary.
Coverage by the Buford secondary.
Really just nowhere to go.
Trying to run a corner route and hit the ball to his big play.
Receiver Patillo 19 costing been doing a good job in coverage, especially on the back on those deep routes, covering on guys like Patello.
Second down and ten.
Heavy rush.
Cross gets it out of there in a hurry and throws it to the track.
And another flag is out.
Or maybe there isn't.
I thought there was.
Yeah, there was.
He picked it up and now he dropped it again.
Buford coming with the pressure once again.
Just not going to give doodle crawls time to set up in the pocket.
Intentional grounding on the offense also.
Loss of down, ten yard penalty.
Five yard penalty from the spot of the foul.
Loss of down, third down.
Cross outside of the pocket.
Just maybe not able to get the ball back to the line of the original line of scrimmage, but not really sure how that became.
Intentional grounding on that play.
26 total pending penalties 205 yards total penalties time ball is caught by King Jones as he comes back to get it and Holloway levels him they throw a flag on the play.
HJ Holloway once again we've seen for Lottie and Holloway finish off some plays here.
Just didn't like the play from the jump, getting outside of the pressure, delivering the ball to Cameron Jones here and as he's getting tackled, really nothing.
It looks like in that situation it was, but it looks like AJ Holloway led with his forearms.
Now if it hit in the head region, is targeting, but from that view, like it was just a big hit.
Yeah, I think targeting is going to be the call here.
We'll wait and see for sure.
You can kind of see Cam Jones head from this angle here as Holloway is trying to finish it off.
Well, we believe it was targeting.
They didn't open their mics and tell us.
So it's going to be third down and the ball is on the 14.
Going for the end zone and a jump ball and caught by Joseph, but did not get his feet down in bounds.
Fourth down and there is Nibby.
Tight coverage there.
Having a great senior year.
Number 20 just not giving him room to land right there.
Joseph once again just trying one on 150.
50 ball out on the edge.
It's not enough space as you can see there for Joseph to come down.
Good coverage there by Nibby.
So fourth and five, this could be the final meaningful play of the game.
Empty backfield, still trying to set up deep into the play clock here.
It's cross three on the play clock and have to hustle to get it off.
And they just do cross goes, same play again, same jump ball again and Joseph comes down with it again and again out of bounds.
19.
Costing little undersized on the corner, but doing a great job, especially right there at the end against Joseph, as you can see.
19.
He gets his head around his costing and finds the ball right there.
And that gives him to the right to do anything he wants in that situation.
Still just can't come down in bounds right there with the catch, Joseph.
So the ball will go over on downs and a 27 seven lead for Buford.
The Wolves are going to win this one and improve the two and o in the region.
And as you look forward for the Buford Wolves, the next big one on the schedule.
Of course they're all big, but the next one that will be a challenge, at least from a ranking standpoint, is that regular season finale when they play at current 8th ranked Mill Creek.
And that could be for the region championship.
Of course, Collins Hills got Mill Creek next week.
They have something to say about that next week when they play the Hawks.
Oh, my God.
For the Buford touchdown, 86 yards.
Look at coach app running down the sideline.
Tyree Tyree Green, explosive.
We talked about these running back, they just come at you with so many backs, with so many different running styles, so many size, so much speed.
Size right here.
Make a man.
Oh, my God.
Race.
Show you the balance there to stay in bounds, not being able to be pushed out of bounds.
Just so many different styles of backs that come at you as a defense, it's hard to adjust.
34, seven.
You heard somebody on the sideline, our sideline.
Mike picked it up as soon as he got the handle.
Someone said, there he goes.
They saw it developing.
And with his incredible speed right here, just a simple right there, just bouncing off, showing you why he's a four star athlete.
And then the balance, not being able to be showed.
The size six, one one, explosive all around them.
Tyree Green, Dylan McCoy, Ethan Irvin, Justin Baker.
We're talking about guys that flip over.
They play corner, they play safety.
Any one of them can be the running, the start running back at most high school, any one of the five or six running backs that they've used here tonight, Cam Jones on the return, trying to get around the edge and going to make it to the 40 yard line.
Any one of the five or six, they beat the number one running back.
Anywhere else.
Yeah, they just, they would walk in and coach would give him a uniform and say, you're my starting tailback.
All of them have speed.
They all are close to 200 pounds or more.
They run behind their pilot pads.
327 rushing yards for Buford tonight.
Holden on the receiving team doing the return.
Ten yards penalty from the spot of the foul to be first down.
All right, watch coach appling on this touchdown run.
Started to feel young right there.
He get that?
That was kind of a gallop.
He was kind of galloping.
He loved to see that.
He said they had to win the line of scrimmage, and that's something key for their offense to have success.
It took a while, but here in the second half, man, have they done that.
He'll pick up his 68th win as the Buford head coach tonight.
68 wins in 75 games.
He already set state history his first three seasons.
He became the first head coach in state history to win state championships in each of his first three seasons.
And we talked about this when they opened the season at Milton.
You know, people are openly talking about what's wrong with Buford because they haven't won state championships the last two years.
And when they lost nobody wanted to hear it was a four hour rain delay or anything.
They lost the game and the state seemed to panic that something was wrong.
They lost the game and that's the expectations of this program.
They are so high year to year that you can win three state championships in six years and they will start doubting you on one loss.
That's going to do it.
Buford 34 seven winners over Collins Hill as the Wolves improved a five and one overall.
Two and oh in region eight six a.
They knock Collins Hill from the ranks of the unbeaten as the six ranked Eagles go down for the first time this season.
Now six and one and two and one in the region and a stout rushing attack from the Wolves tonight and most of it coming in the second half when they finally snap to life and turned a seven three deposit it into a 34 seven win.
Still a lot to play for if you're Eagle.
Collins Hill six and one now has a lot ahead of them to be able to get back on a short week.
And that seems as the game go went on, maybe catch up with them that Buford was the fresher team.
And then in the second half, the tempo, the physicality of that run game matching how they were already playing on defense.
I know we're talking about the run game in the second half, but that seven points Collins Hill put on the board was early in the first and then the Buford defense shut them down.
34 seven.
Buford.
They have been a different team since those first two games of the season.
They have now outscored their opponents in the last four games by over 120 points.
It's been impressive run here as Buford starting to look more and more like Buford with each passing week.
Run the ball, play tenacious defense and once Dylan Dayton Raiola and Jordan Allen started connecting down the field and that is always going to be key with a Buford team.
Can they get those explosive plays down the field for their offense?
In their last four victories, they've outscored their opponents 163 to 38.
And time now for our coaches interview.
It's delivered by Johnny's pizza, Euro Ridgeline neighborhood pizzeria.
Thank you very much, Matt.
Let's see what coach app has to deliver for us here post game.
We talked at halftime.
You said you were.
It was a spirited conversation with the half, with the guys.
Third quarter, they clamped it down.
You got the numbers on the board and you outdistanced them.
By the time you're done.
What was the difference do you think in that third quarter specifically?
I just think execution honestly, I mean, because we.
I say they finished more than execution.
We executed the whole first half.
We just get in the red zone.
We couldn't, we couldn't put it in.
So we finally made enough plays exposed to play with Jordan and just continue to play defense where we played the whole game, just went one play, gave up.
I just think finishing drives, finishing blocks, finishing everything we got, we're killing our own sales man.
Anything that happens, usually something that we calls, whether it's a penalty or whether it's just giving up something behind our head or not making a block or something like that.
So we just got to get better.
And at the same time, you're on the down end of season two right now.
You're in region play, your second half of the schedule.
Where do you think you are right now, even with the week and a half off?
And what else do you have to learn about yourself?
You think?
I think we've improved.
I know that for a fact.
I think we got a long way to go still, too.
So that's a good thing at this point of year.
You play like that, play a little sloppy at times and still win a game like that, a big region game, it's a good thing to notice.
You still have things improved.
I'm not.
I'm not super happy right now.
I'm glad we won, honestly.
But we got a bunch of stuff to fix tomorrow.
Let me ask you about four who we're going to be bringing in here in just a second.
We're going to ask about his play.
Dalton, you mentioned to us this week how things are a little different when it comes to Dalton and his demeanor.
Dylan and his demeanor.
It's a little looser with what Dalton wants to do and how he's out there.
When you see the interaction of a young quarterback and an experienced receiver like Jordan, what's it like to see that interaction out there?
It's great.
I don't mean to correct you, but Dayton, so.
But they have a good chemistry and like I said, the more more experienced Dayton gets, the better he's going to be.
And he makes plays every Friday night and I'm proud of him, you know, just waiting his turn kind of deal and finally getting a chance to do and showcase what he can do.
I mean, he even ran the ball a little bit, so I would say he's faster than Dylan right now, and I'm sure Dylan's out there watching, so he'll call me out on that.
But I'm proud of him and definitely his relationship with Jordan.
Jordan's electric turn game.
He can even play defense for us.
We just don't let him a whole lot.
He's so important to return on offense.
So proud of him.
Thanks for your time.
Great win tonight.
Yes, sir.
I appreciate it.
That is the delivery with the friends from Johnny's pizza.
Let's do the hot change and talk to our player of the game, Jordan.
Come on in because he is our Georgia Cotton commission.
Player of the game.
Georgia Cotton commission.
The natural choice for Georgia.
Our natural choice for player of the game.
And we had to make it the green hat, you know, because of the plays and because of the colors here.
What was it like out there tonight?
It almost seemed like it was.
Coach mentioned not finishing in that first half, but then you got the long touchdown.
What was it like out there for you tonight offensively?
You know, we just felt like we had to come out second half and just make plays.
You know, we kind of left a lot on the field the first half and I feel like we just started clicking more and we started putting up points.
What's it like having a young quarterback out there with you?
What's the rhythm like out there these days?
He doesn't really feel like a young quarterback just because how much he knows and just the work that he puts in and the trust that I have in him.
I mean, so it's like a great time playing with him.
Go through the route for me for the long touchdown.
What was, you don't have to say the play call because you're giving away state secrets, but what was it like in the huddle knowing that the number was going to get called and this was going to be the play?
Yes, sir.
So that was coming off a part return, actually.
So, so we knew we were going to take a shot.
We think that they'll be sleeping out there.
So we just called a shot.
He gave me a chance.
I ran it down and I six.
Yeah, you did run it down.
So you got a big win.
How tough was it out there tonight knowing that it was going to be like this going in?
Yes, sir.
It was real tough just knowing because, I mean, contest a great team.
Great.
What it was going to be like coming?
I mean, I'm just glad that we came together and just fought and got a win.
You did certainly that, Jordan.
Thanks for your time tonight.
Jordan is the Georgia Cotton commission player of the game, the natural choice for George, our natural choice for player of the game because he has the hat and the towel to prove it.
That's the story from down here, Matt.
Dominant second half for Buford.
Points on the board.
They got the win over Collins Hill.
Indeed they did, Nellie.
Thank you for that.
And I agree with what was said down there.
I mean, Buford really looked like a different team in the second half.
And this looks like a team that is loaded up and ready to go for a run.
Here we for them.
You know, you were looking at a possible ten more weeks of football.
Coach App is not happy, Matt.
That's what he said.
He beat a top ten team 34 to seven and that's the expectation of this team.
That's the kind of talent he feels like he puts on the field.
They should play at a different level each and every Friday.
And there's nothing to say that they won't be down at the bends in a couple of weeks.
34 seven, the final as Buford defeats Collins Hill in a big region eight six.

Reminding you to park your phone while driving saves lives.
Heads up, Georgia.
Say hoot.
You wouldn't take a call during the big game.
Oh, hey, what's up, man?
You wouldn't be texting while cheering on your team jacket and you definitely wouldn't want to watch a video while marching with the band.
So why would you drive a car while distracted?
Driving isn't a game.
When you lose on the road, it could lead to a crash.
So when you get behind the wheel, put the distractions aside, drive hands free and save lives.
