Sylvia Gonzalez is the Director of Client Services at Domestic Violence Resource Center in Reno (formerly CAAW) and has been with the organization since 2001. Her role consists of supervising DVRC’s advocates, safety planning, creating and evaluating programs provided to all clients, as well as managing the English and Spanish Support Groups.

Sometimes its good to have somebody that understands where youre coming from because youre not there to judge them, youre not there to criticize them, youre just there to try to listen and to help them as much as you can and when you see them thriving, I mean, thats the best reward ever.
