Ethan Wu, a finalist in the 2024 PBS Reno Spotlight Awards
Ethan Wu is an incoming freshman at Oxford College | Emory University in Oxford, Georgia. Since March 2023, he has served as a volunteer with Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Northern Nevada. Through TIP, he has a minimum of three 12-hour shifts per month during which he responds to calls from First Responders (Police, Fire, REMSA).

- I chose to volunteer with TIP of Northern Nevada because I wanted to directly benefit peoples lives.
TIP of Northern Nevada provides emotional first aid to people who have just suffered a traumatic event, from a fire to the death of a lo People should definitely volunteer more because its a good way to give back to the community and find fulfillment and purpose.
Vote weekly at pbsreno.org through July 31st.
Winners will be announced September 20th.
