Season 4 Episode 2 | 28m 32sVideo has Closed Captions
An intimate set of passion, fury, and love from the gifted F. Stokes.
Rapper F. Stokes was born in a single-mother family in Chicago. At 12 his family re-started their life in Madison. He began rapping and making videos in Madison before moving to NYC "with fifty dollars in my pocket." He's worked as a doorman, a dishwasher, a porter and a bus boy. Despite the extreme circumstances of his youth, or perhaps because of it, Stokes is a generous, positive, intense poet.
