- Who inspired you?
- My mom, my dad, and great artists of all genres.
I love country, blues, jazz, soul.
Anything that makes noise, if it feels good, it usually sticks to me.
- And you a pastor as well, is that right?
- Yes, sir.
I'm a pastor of Cross Serve Ministries International where we cross economical, gender, racial, and all type of social boundaries just to serve.

Had an opportunity to meet this wonderful, beautiful lady just a few weeks ago.
Her name is Mrs. Myra Stacks.
She was born in Bankhead, Alabama.
All these beautiful, wonderful people in these wonderful towns.
That's close to Jasper, Alabama.
She was married to the late Mr. J.E.
Stacks for 48 years.
He passed last year, and we're certainly lifting up Sister Myra as she makes this transition.
But it's gonna be all right.
It's all right right now.
You keep on smiling 'cause you know who you got on your side.
She got I think about three children, three grandchildren, and she attends Hunter Chapel Church in Jasper, Alabama.
Had a chance to visit with that church a few weeks ago, and it was a wonderful, wonderful experience.
So, Sister Myra, we're gonna dedicate the entire Alabama Gospel Roots to you, and I do hope that you enjoy it all.

So, but she passed on the in between, but I know she got to see it because I can just see her.

My sister Beth, my daughter Kara, our daughter Kara, our daughter Korey, they all work at schools.

- Well Spring Church, Pontotoc, Mississippi.
- How long you been there?
- 20 years since my father passed away.
I've been pastoring for 35 years in different places.

- Well those songs were sitting in my drawer, and God connected me with a man two years ago that kind of pulled it out of me.
She didn't even know I had 'em.
And since then we've recorded two albums.
Had one chart.
Had another one, possibly about to hit the charts.
We didn't see any of that coming.
We're picking out 10 songs out of 25 we have copyrighted to do a third album, and it's just come so fast.
