- That's right.
- Somebody's watching you and then when I ask them that question they'll say, "Well I saw Resurrected Vision."
- Yeah.
- Great.
Well welcome to the show, now I want you to introduce everybody, introduce everyone.
- Okay, yeah, standing next to me over here, this is my wife Mandy Olvey.
We've been married for almost two years.
- Congratulations.
- Back in 1997, my mother-in-law down here started this group as Vision and we got together one day and we were singing around and Mandy said we should resurrect that old group and so that's how we got the name Resurrected Vision.
- I think it fits perfectly.
- You didn't say Mom's name.
- What's Mom's name?
- Oh yeah, her name's Elaine Harrell.
- (laughs) Get him straight, there you go, there you go.
And you guys, have you recorded any of your music yet?
- We're working on a project right now, it's gonna be called Family Tradition.
We're going back doing a bunch of the old songs that Mandy's family grew up on and and stuff like that, so we're really looking forward to that, it's gonna be released probably the 1st of October.
- That is wonderful.
Well, wishing you the very best in what you're doing and Mom, so glad, I know you're happy to see the vision resurrected.
- Yes.
- And that's what'll happen, right?
- That's right.
- If you don't give up.
- That's right.
- If you don't give up.
Well the people out there have enjoyed you being on "Alabama Gospel Roots" and can I go ahead and issue the invitation for you to return right now?
- Of course, absolutely.
- Okay, you're gonna make sure?
- Yes.
- You're gonna handle it, right?
- Yeah, I'll handle it.
(both laughing) - I love it, I love it, I love it.
Well, I tell you what, we're gonna get ready to get outta here, but y'all don't leave before you do another song, I'll be back, okay?
- All righty.
- Okay, once again, on "Alabama Gospel Roots," it's Resurrected Vision.
