- I met Ron through Al Jerkins.
- Okay.
- And he had come to lot of Al's singings, and I started working with him when I started promoting.
- Right.
- And he would put my singings on ZZK and advertise them.

- Right.

And when I first met Ron, I met him by way of telephone.
And I spent a little time in radio myself, and sometimes the radio announcers can get their noses up in the air.
- Yes.
- (chuckles) But Ron came in, and I couldn't believe it, with a reputation and the legendary walk in radio he has that he would be so down to earth.
- Right.
