So tell me a little bit about that, Duke.
- Well we, the three of us, the older three, all graduated from Wallace State.
And at the time Race was still a student and they were putting together a big History of Gospel Music Showcase.
And the choir director, Miss Tiffany Richter, a very dear friend and mentor, was like, "Y'all come be involved."
So I played.
I played keys for the show and was the music director and the girls staged the show and were featured soloists and Race was a featured soloist.
And we all danced in the show.
And then she was like, "By the way, we're going to Europe.
"Do y'all want to come do this in Europe with us?"
So we got to go to Germany and Austria and Italy and the Italians love some gospel music.
- Yes.
- And so we got to sing this wonderful gospel music all over the world to people who don't necessarily know this style of music and what this is.
And a lot of the students had never sung like, "I'll Fly Away."
They didn't know "When We All Get to Heaven."
I mean, it was really interesting to watch how this music affected people who were somewhat unchurched.
- I got you.
- So it was really, really great.
- I got you.
Did you get a chance to get into any of the theaters in while you were in Italy?
