Atlantic City has 48 blocks- and now the 48 Blocks Festival kicks off every summer.

State of the Arts goes on location to the historic shore town of Atlantic City to check out its homegrown cultural scene. The 48 Blocks Festival features murals all over the city, and music in communities away from the downtown scene. Also popular is the 48 Blocks Garden Tour, featuring some of the city's best gardens at one of the nicest times of the year.
