New Hampshire is the second oldest state in the nation. And it is struggling to hold onto its youngest residents. The pandemic hasn’t helped. Many say it’s exacerbated pre-existing barriers to civic engagement in the state. These barriers, such as high cost of living and lack of cultural relevance have made it difficult for Granite Staters in their 20’s and 30’s to stay and engage.
