- We- - You just didn't have anything to do that day, did you?
- No, we had a couple guys with us and they were talking about dentures and it just hit me.
I wrote a lot of songs over the years, but you know, Bible said laughter to do with good is a medicine.
- You're so right.
- And so, you know, it just hit me.
I started writing the lyrics about the teeth and it just fell right on in there and that's where it's been.
- Is it popular when you go, I know, I like it.
- Oh yes, sir.
Anytime I sing that I have good response.
The Lord's really blessed us with that.
- Okay, all right.
Well, I would say something, but we're in the pulpit.
I was wondering if you ever started singing and people who didn't have no teeth, all of a sudden they got a miracle and got teeth.

- Thank you once again for having me.
- You've never left.

- Right.
- It's still a new year.
- Happy New Year to everyone.
- All right, well, Allen Pruitt, Jr., you have just been blessed with the anointing and the gift and the skill to play the keyboards and it's just inspiring.
- Thank you so much.
Thank you.
- It's inspiring.
And you've been playing for all your, how long you been playing?
I wanna say all your life.
- I'm just gonna say I started at five years old and we were gonna stop- - At five.
Okay, well, I love the story that you tell about when you ask your dear grandmother for a, I guess you say a piano, then you wasn't the keyboard at that point.
- Right, exactly, exactly.
The story goes and that's why I did play that first song.
"How Great Thou Art" was one of her favorites that I would do and just ask about, "What do you want for Christmas?"
And I wanted a piano.
And the story was, we don't know how we're gonna get it, but my grandfather said, "We gonna get it."
When he asked, when he asked her, "Well, what the boy want for Christmas?"
- Yes.
- She said, "Well, he wanna piano."
- Piano.
- And there it was.
And from there, just wonderful things continued.
- All around the world, all around the world.
Say a word of encouragement to the musicians real quick about just hanging in there and being faithful to the call.
- Yeah, and that's the key word, just being faithful.
It's not about the the how much money you might get, $5 here, $5 there, but that you're sincere and just being real in what you do.
Making it about what the gift was given for not, not necessarily what the gift can get you, but you continue to move for what the gift was given to you for and the get you will get there.
- All right, wonderful.
Amen, well, listen everybody, Allen Pruitt Jr. And of course he has the group, Called II Worship.
And there, hey, we saw you on another television station for Christmas Eve.
Y'all did a great job.
- Thank you.
- All right, welcome once again.
