- Oh, what a blessing to be here.

- Mauvilla.
I used to go there every year on the field trip to the mounds out there.
That was a staple.
(videographer laughing) We all went down there to see the mounds and go to the little shop out there in the Arrowhead or something like that.
I don't know if it really was from there, it's where we thought it was.
All right, we'll take it- - We thought it was.
- Yeah, we'll say it was, okay?
Well, tell me, we don't have much time, but tell me a little bit about the ministry that you have, the name of the ministry and what you do.
So, I have an organization, nonprofit organization called Healing Steps Movement.
Through that organization, because of my background, I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker.
So, God gave me a vision in 2017 to start something for the community just to kind of give back.
What we do is focused around food insecurity.
We have a pantry called Suny's Pantry, which is in honor of my grandmother, Susie, but everyone called Suny.
So, because of her spirit, I wanted to kind of remember her and just be able to get back in that platform.
We also have, we're looking to expand.
We do a number of different things in the community such as breast cancer awareness walk.
We also do an annual youth summit focused around mental health and suicide prevention.
So, those are just some of the things that we do through the organization.
- I know you got a long list.
Now, you have been married for how long?
- Just over one year.
- Just over one year.
Congratulations.
Now, Jonathan, you are the former mayor of Akron, Alabama.
Is that correct?
- That is correct.
- Great.
And I know your service is just listed on and on and on.
But now, let me ask you this question.
And so, together, you are feeding, you're clothing, and so many other things to enrich the community.
As we get ready to close, tell us the responsibility of individuals who have more than others.
What is that responsibility, if you look straight out to the camera.
- Responsibility is to give communities, give back to our communities.
The hope we have blessed is our job.
Do a blessing back to our communities in the form of our talents, our gifts, as well as the treasure God gives.
- Great.
Okay.
Don't anything you want to say about that?
Add to that?
- No, Mr. Mayor knows exactly what to say.
