The national hotline launched this Saturday

New Jersey residents suffering from a mental health crisis have a new number to call for help – 9-8-8. The crisis hotline that went live on Saturday, will connect people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis with a trained health professional 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The timing of this 9-8-8 hotline is critical.
