Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship[Music] if you're looking to see a special story about a friendship that can be formed between a young person and an older Persona would be for you nostalgic I would say heartbreak and I would choose the word friendship to describe the film yeah I think we are today's game Marcia like a particular and specific and super sensitive voice to the character she's the heart and I guess the entire crew was the soul of the film a lot of heavy lifting both emotionally and physically Scholars living in the present The Clash of cultures especially latinx and cultures that Clash into making this film together we were all latinx we were all women on this film that was also in Spanish working with the actors and of course you're seeing what was written on paper come to life a lot of people come up to us and be like oh I I've never thought about the loneliness the challenges uh you know one faces when they get to that certain type of age I should be a lot kinder to you know my grandparents my parents you know no strangers on the street that are at that age if just one person feels something my work is done all of us just want to be able to work on a project that goes beyond just being a pretty film being a film that has meaning be a film that evokes emotion from an audience [Music] this project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts on the web at arts.gov and by oolite Arts what Miami is made of
