Lisa Friedrich received a grant in college to experiment with gunpowder and smoke and has continued working with the medium ever since. Dropping out of grad school for a more hands on experience, Lisa spends all her free time working on her art, and is constantly changing and experimenting with her pieces, trying to be as flexible and as unpredictable as the gunpowder itself.
