Pharmacists would be able to prescribe birth control pills and hormonal patches under a new Republican proposal that has received criticism from anti-abortion groups. The bills lead sponsor, Rep. Mary Felzkowski, R-Irma, says women already have access to similar over-the-counter therapies. "It just makes sense to make this available for women," Felzkowski says.
